Sure, I could make you one. What kind of signature d'you want? :
I'm finished sketching this scene of my comic. Yes, he died. Kana ate him. :D -- http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1185258303 http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1185258303 http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1185258325 http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1185258325 Do you know why exactly I'm proud of the few photos of that elk? Because I was the one who took them. :) And yes, it is a wild animal. We had vacation in the Yellowstone national park. And when we drove through that forest, we saw that beautiful animal eating grass and I asked, "Can I please got outta the car to take photos?" And they said, "Yes, sure." They had no idea what I really planed to do. Not only taking pictures, but taking good pictures! The elk was yet pretty far away from the car and the road. So I had to come closer. I'm crazy enough for that. One of my many mottos are "Try out some adventures. Either you're gonna die or your life gets more exciting." What do you have to loose? :) This one and the next three photos are my favorites of the 36 pictures I took. The reason why I took so many pictures from the moment I tried to come closer to that elk is that I didn't know which ones might be the last one I take in my life. :D If you wanna take good pictures of wild animals (at least, the not-carnivores ones, because I haven't dared to try that out... yet) then you have to know about some rules. I survived it, that's why the rules will be useful for you too: - Don't act like a carnivores that's gonna attack that animal you're interested in. That means: Don't run toward to it but always walk slowly and carefully in its range of vision so that it doesn't think you're sneaking up from behind to eat him. - Always look at the animal's eyes to find out about its mood, especially if it looks up to you. Looking up often means, it wants to know what the hell you're doing and whether you're gonna hurt him with that. If it thinks you're okay, it will look away again and continue doing what it was doing (like eating grass). If it would be not okay, this elk would probably had show me his antlers with an aggressive pose as a damn serious warning. If you didn't learn how to see an animal's mood, then step away from it slowly to let it know, you don't plan to hurt it. Do this till it looks away again. It's just safe... - And when the animals lies down, it's a sign that it's calm. If it would consider you as a danger, he wouldn't dare to lie down because... hm... would you lie down if you see a carnivore watching you? You'd probably run away. After I took the last photo, a ranger came and was pretty pissed because of all the people who took photos of that elk. We came definitely too close to that wild animal. It was a law of security that we only might take pictures of animals from the road. But those photos would have been way too bad... I don't like photos with animals which are so far away, that they look like a dot. So it was worth to be in outlaw in that case :D By the way, the ranger was especially angry with me because I was the closest one of all those photographers. :D I'm even proud of this! |
:
But obviously, you knew how to approach the elk without making the animal attack you. The ranger just ranted to keep his job. I like the first picture the most, with the pine forest in the background. Pretty amazing. |
YYYYYAAAYYY! Johnnys dead! Woohoo!
|
That 4th picture is great. The Elk looks like it's smiling. =P
|
Haha, you're such an outlaw indeed. But you survived it and nobody else got hurt. It's not that worse.
|
I love those pics! You really are a talanted photographer.
|
Nice photos! You got some pretty good pictures!
And the signature and avatar thingy... do you think you could make a cool looking pair using some of my artwork in my thread? I don't care what is in it. If that is alright... |
:
Thank you very much. :

Sure! From what thread of yours? I think, you got two. And do you want me to write something on it? What kind of colors do you prefer too? :) -- Yesterday night I couldn't get some sleep and decided to draw something quickly. Those are some crappy-looking pictures about some ideas I got which I'd like to see in my humorous comic book... the final versions will look way better, of course! Those are just the concepts of them. Sometimes, I like to draw some socio-critical "gags", like the one about war, dolls, babies, zoo and TV. Just that people can start to think about it even it might make them laugh. :) Enjoy? |
Well the computer I am at right now won't let me click on the link, otherwise I'd comment on it...
And as for the Ava and Sig, I don't have any preferences to what is in it... just some of my pictures from "Arxryl's Sketchbook". And Do you think the overall color scheme could be Blue or Purple? Those are my two favorite colors. And, as for the writing on it, anything will do. If you could fit my name somewhere on it, and maybe a slogan (I don't care what) that'd be awesome! Thank you! |
Haha those are hilarios! rofl
|
I really laughed at, "Hey...wanna buy a jacket?"
GOOD JOB. |

Those are pretty cool! Thank you!
EDIT: I'll put 'em up when I get to my house... This computer is being retarded. |
Glad, you like them. :)
If there's anything you want to get fixed on those, I'll see what I can do. -- New picture. (It is crappy-lookin' because of the scanner! ) I noticed that there was an old sketch lying around in my room that I kinda forgot to admit. I wanted to color it someday but couldn't get around doing it since I still work for my comic book about these guys (I finished sketching 9 pages now, if you wanna know). This picture is supposed to be a some kind of a family portrait. They don't actually have cameras where they live, but who cares! :D Now that I think about it, a family portrait is a kinda silly idea... however, I need this picture to get a reference of Kana when I draw pictures about him in my comic. I really like how he turned out on this one. :) Oh, and let's answer the question why Kana (as the younger half-brother of Kiho) has wrinkles around his eyes. Pretty complicated: His mother's species can become about 700 years old but his father's species maybe about 140 years. Kana may become the same age as his mother's species (if he doesn't get killed by someone in the meantime, heh) but his look, that is more like his father's, doesn't stop to age till then. Soon he'll look very old, but still being healthy and fit. Kiho, who has inherited more of her mother's species, looks "young" even she got a high age now. -- Oh, and the second and third one is only something with that I design my journal on Deviantart. Don't mind it... |
Great work!
|
Hmm? Doesn't look too crappy. Once again...
GOOD JOB. |
Looks very good, yeah.

Thank you very much! :

Sweet Picture! Their outfits are pretty cool!

|
Well, yes, but he still looks cool.
EDIT: I love the way the signature looks, but it seems that the file size for the Avatar is a little large. I don't want to sound ungrateful, because I'm not ungrateful, but do you think you could make a new avatar? One with Gorg or Slurp (or both) would be cool. |
:
:
I'm too lazy to browse through your art thread, can you please give me a picture you would like to have as your avatar? |
You don't like my art thread?....aw.... ;)
Yeah, I can find a picture. http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...2&d=1184090317 Probably one of the best sketches I have ever done of him. And again, I'm sorry if I sound rude. |
:
I don't wanna waste my time with making a new avatar that you won't like in the end. :
Do you like this one? The size should work... |
Oh Shell yes! That's awsome! Thank you!
note to self: get whatever Stranger's maid uses... ;) |
Looks really good. :D

-- Take a deep breath. Many photos I took about a vacation we had. For closer information about the trip, go to http://gloomyunderwoods.deviantart.com/journal/ and read my journal entry. ;) Okay, POTC fans will recognize one picture as a stage of the movie. When we were at the Unsiversal Studios, we made a short tour trough some (only a few, actually) stages of famous movies, like POTC, War Of The Worlds, Jurassic Park and Jaws. Ha! Made you jealous! No seriously, it was THE vacation of my life anyway and I'm pretty grateful for that. :) It's not as if I'm spoiled, except for that one week, of course. |
Another record for Most Pictures In One Attachement. There's nothing stopping you. :D
Great shots there, especially the squirrels and roads with the hill scenery. Just noticed that you have a lot of drawings I haven't seen before on deviantART. Liked the self-portrait and Artist Blood the most. Suddenly, I have this urge to join the site and post up the drawings I have... |
Pretty cool photos you got there, mate!

Actually, I showed as much pictures in this thread as I did on Deviantart as well. The famili portrait one is also here. Just look at my latest posts. :) :
