Well he just said that it was a recent picture of him, he didn't state which one in the picture was him, so I just assumed they were conjoined twins.

Yesterday it was my friends 16th birthday party, we all had to dress up as nerds for the party, I was told that I was the "nerdiest" and someone even said to me that apparently I have the look for a nerd :(

It's probably because you're so skinny. Everything else can be faked with costumery, but that's natural.

Which is not to say that all nerds are skinny; in real life that's certainly not true. But in films and tv, they always are. I suppose that's because there is no-one fat in Hollywood, so skinny is the only option if they don't want someone who's buff.
