Antichrist

Wasn't it you who said that anyone coming in here and saying that they saw Antichrist was an "edgy" piece of shit?

Alf Shall Rise 08-25-2010 01:37 PM

A few days ago, I watched An American Werewolf in London. I thought it was pretty funny, although I'm not sure if the film was intentionally trying to be humorous.

Yes. It was intentionally trying to be humorous.

Josh 08-26-2010 06:39 AM

I'm watching it right now. This had better be good.

OANST 08-26-2010 08:15 AM

I liked it. Just don't watch An American Werewolf in Paris. It took everything that was special about the first and threw it out.

Probably lol, I was saying that about Trash Humpers too. Just gotta watch them more than once.

See, at the moment, I think Mr Lonely and Inception are kind of balls. I'm sure I'd warm up to them.

Dynamithix 08-29-2010 06:10 AM

I watched Shaun of the dead. For the 7th time.

Love it. :)

Mr. Bungle 08-29-2010 02:07 PM

I watch the original Alien movie last night, was brilliant.

I watched Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, too, because my friend meant to bought the original AVP, but fucked up. It was pretty damn bad.

Wings of Fire 08-29-2010 02:16 PM

There's a lot of bad between those two movies, starting with Alien 3.

Sekto Springs 08-29-2010 09:33 PM

Alien Resurrection is awesome. You shut your mouth.

It was an alright film, just not as good as the first two.

MeechMunchie 08-30-2010 09:31 AM

I saw The Ring. It lived up to its reputation.

Also saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World. T'was average.

Twilight for boys

Alien Resurrection is awesome.

Agreed.

Also, I saw [REC]2, a great Spanish horror film. I loved the first one and the second one was amazing too.

SPOILERS

Though, I didn't really like the plot of the "infection" being possession of some kind. And that the devil was a... larva? But overall a great movie.

Shut your horrible craw. I am allowed to enjoy a movie that 100% appealed to me. You also have thunderously abhorrent taste compared to mine, so your opinions are like dust from old dry poopedables. Good day.

Mr. Bungle 08-30-2010 11:13 PM

I've been watching the latest Futurama Series, and it's been brilliant. Strongly recommend watching them.

Had to torrent them due to the fact that Comedy Central sucks, and refuses to let us Canadians watch their channel legally (as far as i know, anyways)

Mac Sirloin 08-30-2010 11:24 PM

I watched the Simpsons movie for the first time since it came out. It's such an easy way to lose an hour and a half, because it's just watchable. You can watch it and watch it, but it's still pretty okay.

Nate 08-31-2010 04:38 AM

Just watched Inception. It was pretty good.

*NERD RAGE*

OANST 08-31-2010 01:47 PM

Alien Resurrection is one of the worst films that I have ever seen.

Hazel-Rah 08-31-2010 01:56 PM

It's not even good for mindless gore anymore now that we have AVPR, did you ever see the unrated version? *shivers*

OANST 08-31-2010 01:58 PM

I don't know. I saw a version, and said never again.

Mac Sirloin 08-31-2010 03:37 PM

Alien Ressurection was dumb and bad, but people will continue to like it because Ron Perlman and other horrors.

Hazel-Rah 08-31-2010 09:27 PM

The first Alien is my favorite, it's creepier than Aliens and John Hurt was in it.

Strike Witch 09-01-2010 12:11 AM

Basically. Only the first two films are worth watching.

Oh, and same with Predator.

Dynamithix 09-01-2010 01:13 AM

I thought Predators was okay but it could've been called "Predator(s)"...

Mac Sirloin 09-01-2010 07:04 AM

Just saw the trailer for Machete. Apparently it's out this friday. Last I heard it was in development hell. Weird.

Hazel-Rah 09-01-2010 07:08 AM

I saw Predators it was interesting howthere were two breeds of Predator squabling amongst each other, it's so rare to see aliens from the same planet bicker with each other like humans in sci-fi, although it is possible that they're not from the same planet.

Recently saw that too, cant watch That 70s Show the same way now.

Yes Man - I enjoy Jim Carrey movies, so I enjoyed this.

Black Dynamite - Such a great movie, it pretty much executes what it wants to do perfectly. Probably the best parody movie out there.

Crashpunk 09-03-2010 03:03 AM

I've just seen Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World It was fantastic.

The video game references were hilarious.

Dynamithix 09-03-2010 05:14 AM

I saw The Crazies. It seemed so cool yet it was so boring. Bunch of clichés, cheap "scary" scenes and the biggest letdown; it didn't really explain what happened in the end.

I mean c'mon? For a mediocre movie you could at least show how the stupid story ends. I really REALLY hope they won't make a sequel.

Hazel-Rah 09-03-2010 09:50 AM

Watership Down, the film not the series, John Hurt does a good me.

Wings of Fire 09-03-2010 09:53 AM

You have a fursona now?

OddjobAbe 09-03-2010 09:55 AM

John Hurt. I've thought he was good in anything I've seen him in. I still need to see the film adaptation of 1984.

Wings of Fire 09-03-2010 09:58 AM

Well he single handedly managed to turn Bakshi's Lord of the Rings into an actual good film.

Hazel-Rah 09-03-2010 10:08 AM

He was awesome as Winston in 1984, I've seen that movie twice. I thought it was hilarious how he was the dictator in V for Vendetta, he was great in both roles.

He truly looked like hell in 1984, seriously he looked older in that movie than he did in the new Indiana Jones.

Daxter King 09-05-2010 07:43 PM

Scott Pilgrim

Had some interesting things going for it, but felt it was pretty mediocre overall.

Really? I thought it was pretty damn great, given how much of a stinker the original was. It was shot really, really well, too. Like, it was probably the most well shot movie I've seen this year, and it's going to be overlooked because Hollywood are fagitz.
