enchilado 11-28-2009 03:50 PM

I don't even have a clue what is going on.

MeechMunchie, do you like Wallace and Gromit?

MeechMunchie 11-28-2009 03:51 PM

I do, muchly. Why?

Wil 11-28-2009 03:53 PM

Because echilado wants to get an infraction for very pointedly going off-topic.

MeechMunchie 11-28-2009 03:54 PM

*Mimes mouth-zippping action*

enchilado 11-28-2009 04:00 PM

I was SO the first one to go offtopic, very DEFINITELY.

He has a Feathers McGraw wanted poster as his profile picture thing, and this was the first thread I came into after looking at it. And there was nothing really ontopic I could say to the previous posts.

And MeechMunchie: have you ever been on the Wallace and Gromit forums?

Oh... and ontopic...

"I won't be able to come anywhere. I really DO wish I could though. Have fun all you guys. I'm sure you will. Have an Odd-damned good time."

Oh... forgot a space. You're banned.

I won't be able to come anywhere
Wut?

enchilado 11-28-2009 05:01 PM

I didn't forget a space, I omitted itdeliberately!

And I meant I won't be able to go to London, America or Melbourne.

used:) 11-28-2009 07:34 PM

Where do you live anyway, for real?

enchilado 11-28-2009 07:48 PM

Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

used:) 11-28-2009 07:50 PM

Haha! Now I'm going to come and stalk you!

(are threats, even humorous in nature, a punishable offense?)

enchilado 11-28-2009 07:54 PM

Yep. Offenders will be shot, then confined to the stockade.

Oh poo.

So... who would be joining us at the Melbourne meet-up?

Alcar...

I'm up for that

Nate 12-05-2009 09:55 PM

*checks Taco's age*

Well, at least he's legal.

enchilado 12-06-2009 01:28 PM

Legal for what? I'm 16.

Wil 12-06-2009 01:30 PM

Legal for you being responsible for whatever may befall you on any OddTour you may attend, no matter the perp.

enchilado 12-06-2009 01:35 PM

Ah. Maybe in ten years then.

Yes, exactly.

Sekto Springs 12-06-2009 05:59 PM

Who cares about the legality of one's age?
We're a bunch of nerds getting together to discuss a videogame. What's the worst that could happen?

Bear in mind the above scenario excludes the possibility of Cody hacking this thread and screwing around with the information, Jacob burning a cross on the front lawn, or Havoc showing up in a tiger skin speedo.

Nate 12-06-2009 06:05 PM

Take in to account that Oddtour Melb was going to be just me and Peter. Then rethink your post.

T-nex 12-06-2009 06:13 PM

Aw :( Why so exclusive?

Sekto Springs 12-06-2009 06:19 PM

I refuse to rethink anything I do. That's for losers.
Also, your location will not save you from the scorn of the Havoc.

Nate 12-06-2009 06:40 PM

Aw :( Why so exclusive?

Because no-one else wanted to come to Melbourne, before Taco came along. It was only exclusive by association, not by exclusion. So to speak.

Sekto Springs 12-06-2009 06:48 PM

Melbourne doesn't even exist. Nate's just being snobby.

ODDTOUR FOLKS:

I suppose, after some collaboration, that we'll be tentatively planning the US Oddtour Roadtrip for April/May some time. Considering the costs involved I think it is going to be appropriate for there to be a 'buy in' to share the cost of gas/lodging/food/stuff equally, if you are going to be part of the trip. People who want to want to meet up obviously don't need a 'buy in' but gratuity is appreciated. :D

I'll be working on the numbers pretty soon to see about what I expect each participant should bring. Oh and by the way, I'm not doing the road trip with any less than three people. This means three bodies, myself and two others. The more people, the less we each have to pot.

Everyone's invited, even the improbable attendance of overseas members is encouraged.

*audience member getting up from the seat and heads out mumbling "crappy, slow, boring show.. waste of money..."*

*Tumbleweed*
*Clock tower chimes in the distance*

*Zorak blinks*

Pilot 12-17-2009 10:50 AM

I have to admit my favorite out of those is the baby which gradually starts crying.

My idea for a roadtrip is an admitted stretch, just because aside from OWF's 'clique' members, the thought of meeting up with internet peeps is unthinkable. Plus, our 18+ membership here is just about limited to our 'senior clique' demographic, most of which are in UK or Australia. Pity. Also, I'm not considering anyone who's not a 'forum regular,' nor under 18 for participation.

OANST 12-17-2009 10:57 AM

I'm over 18, and I don't live in Australia.

I actually would be willing to put up with you guys for a few days. Three would probably be my cut off point. Could be fun.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:17 AM

Definitely be fun. Okay, you're in for a visit once we figure out the rest of the details. By 'put up with' do you mean you're willing to 'put us up' or would other arrangements be necessary?

I could put you up for a few days. We have enough room to sleep two more people. More if beds were being shared.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:28 AM

Cool.

:

More if beds were being shared.
Yeah, that's not likely to happen, though the seats in the Rambler fold down into a full bed so Chris can sleep there!

It's all coming to fruition.

OANST 12-17-2009 11:31 AM

Be warned. I am an extraordinarily boring person.

Wings of Fire 12-17-2009 11:31 AM

It's true.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:31 AM

I think we all are, we just pretend to be mighty and glorious on the internetz.

He with the tightest T shirt, wins.

Wings of Fire 12-17-2009 11:33 AM

I like how the last three posts were all in the same minute.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:36 AM

The key is:

*crickets*

You're really hearing the crickets in your mind now. That's how the magic works. Creepy, huh?

It's true.

You're cruising for an oanstfraction. I can give those out again, you know.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:43 AM

He'll not only brand you with a Scarlet "O"... but he'll also inhale your ear.

I have a feeling I know what the London OddTour is going to be like:
