Anything Goes and ze congo song are especially addictive. |
I even figured out I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire so I can campfire guitar it to anyone who happens to be near me.
I love it. |
My tastes in music are very strange. I admit it. But on my iPod, there's a mix of different music. But there is mostly classical on there. You know, Beethoven, Chopin, etc. There's some Scatman John on there. There's a whole album of Daft Punk on there (Discovery) while including Technolgoic, Robot Rock and Around the World. I've also got Madness on my iPod. But I listen to classical music on CDs mostly when I'm at home and not out and about.
Strangely enough, classical music seems to really relax my pet guinea pigs whenever I play it. |

I just got listening to Mr. Bungle's 'Disco Volante' again, and I have to say, it's starting to grow on me. Not as good as the self titled album, but that B52s parody (this one was great at a live performance I went to - Patton even had tights over his head to make him look bald) that's on the end of Carry Stress in the Jaw was great.
EDIT: For those who think I'm going mad, I still can't listen to 'The Bends', 'Playtpus' or 'After School Special' without turning off the stereo and wishing I'd never put it on. Or 'Desert Search for Techno Allah'. No matter how many good things people have to say about that one, it gives me headaches. |

Black Moth Super Rainbow.
Holy shit. |
M.I.A.'s new song has been driving me crazy. I can't get it out of my head.
M.I.A is a plague
BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM
:
Some, some, some-a some I murder. Some-a some I let go. |
M.I.A sounds like children's music.
Music for children or music by children?
For children. It's bizarre.
'$20 Dollar' is the only M.I.A I can I've kind of liked, but certainly not for the vocals
I only like 'Paper Planes'. And only because it was on that Pineapple Express commercial, so my subconscious decided to attach PE to PP. Now I love the song. Fuck.
lol peepee |
Necro'd, although we probably need a new version.
Listening to a lot of Incubus lately. Otherwise some new bands I got is Minus the Bear, Mute Math, Shiny Toy Guns (only a few of their songs are to my liking [sp?], unfortunately) and some Police. Go ahead and -rep for my blantant mainstream music taste. P.S. New Killers album is mostly shit, imo. Edit: BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM fuck. |
I've thought about getting into Incubus for a while, but they tend to just sound like a Faith No More rip-off to me a lot of the time. I still like them though, and with the crazy economy, I can't afford to import CDs anymore, so might have to look their way.

I have got some tickets to see Porcupine Tree perform their new album in October. Get in.
I got the new Fleet Foxes album. Very beautiful.
Fleet Foxes are quite beautiful indeed.
Has anybody heard of Best Fwends? They're this really great dance-punky/8-bit band from Austin, Texas. They aren't big in America, but apparently they have gained popularity in the European nations. They were featured in a Bacardi ad over them thar seas. Mmm, I love 'em. |
:
Thanks Charlie I love you so much! |
Listening to a Fistful of Film music right now, a collection of Ennio Morricone's best. Absolutely fucking brilliant. I know that soundtrcks is kinda my thing, but pick this up if you can, it's stupendous.
The Ecstasy Of Gold is the best song ever.
Over than take on me. |

I have obtained an album by The Pineapple Thief. Anyone a fan?
I know them not.
I have just obtained Mr Bungle's self titled. What a work of genius.
Finally. I've been waiting for someone to post in this thread so I wouldn't have to double post.
The new Animal Collective album, 'Merriweather Post Pavilion' will easily be the best album of the year. I don't care if we are only a month in. No one will beat it. It's almost too brilliant. |

Incredibad, by The Lonely Island. I have listened to the album many, many, many times. It is somehow getting better with each listening. Sax Man and Lazy Sunday are the best songs on the album.
Got a Modest Mouse Album, and Afro Samurai OST, good shit.
Dimmu Borgir anyone?

Saw them last wednesday at defenders of the faith.
