There are definitely only 99, but I’m positive that it’s possible to rescue some of them multiple times if you revisit the areas they’re hidden in.

Specifically, in the temples, where you can enter one of the trials, visit the secret area and rescue the Mudokons, then exit the trial without lighting the flint lock. When you re-enter that trial, the secret area has reset, so you can rescue the Mudokons again and add extra Mudokons to the counter.

I don’t think that’s as easy to do in Exoddus as the vault doors always lock behind you as soon as you enter them.

I honestly hope it was an amicable parting of ways. I don't know you at all, Wil but the idea that one of Oddworld's biggest fans gets hired by OWI then finds out they're a bunch of assholes or gets fired for whatever reasons kills what little childlike optimism I have left inside. Cause that would suck.

I'd assume it's the same reason that JAW and OWI split.

I'm not going to go into the details, but:

• It was an amicable split. There's no hard feelings either way.
• It was due to circumstances at my end, nothing to do with the way they were treating me.
• It's nothing to do with JAW. I'd already left JAW long before to work for OWI directly.

No. It would have been cool, but cut into time for everything else.

I worked from home and never visited the OWI studio, so I never got a chance to pilfer from the stationery cupboard, but I still have a bunch of equipment and display materials from working conventions, that's still technically the property of Oddworld Inhabitants. Incidentally, the JAW office still has some of my personal Oddworld merch hanging on the walls and looking pretty on shelves.
