...Click. It was funny.

I just saw disturbia ^.^
Really good movie :D |
I just watched X-Men: The Last Stand. It was very good in my opinion. It's a shame it was the last of the X-Men films.
|
I just watched the finale of Magnum P.I, and I'm still trying to fathom out if Higgins admitted that was lying about Robin Masters or being Robin Masters.

:
if you watch the ending closesly (the chess pieces) and, if you saw it on DVD and watched the post-credits Easter Egg, You can see that it might not be such a final ending after all. if they ever want to revisit the films they can easily. Plus XMen3 was only released last year, so it's not like it'd be so much later it no longer feels right. |
Last I heard they were working on a Wolverine prequel and maybe a sequel with the younger characters. It's going to be more or less impossible to get all those big stars together again for a film.
|
I've worked my way through 'The Sopranos' at an incredible lick, very addictive. It's probably the most strictly perfect piece of television drama I've ever seen. Should seriously be seen by everybody, regardless of the extortionate prices HBO charge for their DVDs (though they're come down to a fairly reasonable price here.)
Amarcord and 8 1/2: my first ever Fellini films and they were fantastic. Wasn't so keen on the second which seemed slightly dry, but I think that was mainly my mood as I was watching it. Especially considering it's supposed to be one the best films ever made. :) 28 Weeks Later: I adored the first film, and this was also wonderful. Not as wonderful, but still wonderful. Great story, looked beautiful, and the opener is stunning, along with the sequence where soldiers are picking off the people. Just a pity it didn't actually have anything to say like the first one did, but oh well. I was expecting them to make some comment about American Imperialism, but no. |
I dared to see 'Saw'.
Some of you may realize that I'm referring to the slogan, Dare You See Saw?. It was good, but I don't really understand it. I also re - watched Reservoir Dogs. Quite good, but not the best ever film. |
I LOVED that slogan! I chuckled about that in some car park for far longer than was acceptable.
|
Whenever I read it, I read it as, Dare You Seesaw?!
|
...I think that was the intended joke, Jeremy. :)
|
Oh. Please excuse my blindness.

American Imperialism is a myth.
After the 80's. |

I watched "Happily Never After" and it was pretty good. Very predictable, but good for a watch.

Really?... well... that's interesting. Still very predictable tho'. Don't know if sarcasm was placed in that post but...

Though I watched Terminator 2 a multitude of times during my childhood (as did any other reasonable, God-fearing kid), I only just yesterday saw The Terminator. A most excellent film, if I do say so myself. There's enough badassery packed between Michael Bienh and Ahnuld to more than make up for the blatantly dated 80's soundtrack.
I also watched Judge Dredd for the first time about a week ago. Fun stuff. Action/sci-fi movies were so much cooler when every other scene wasn't cgi. |
I was at a friend's place last week and watched Johnny Mnemonic (I got outvoted). It was as truly horrible as I suspected it would be.
They made up for it by following it with Thankyou For Smoking, which was nothing like I expected but wonderful nonetheless. |

I quite frankly would like to see a nice libertarian documentary. All of the moonbat prattle and fundie prattle and atheist prattle bores me.
I watched the Batman films (except Batman and Robin) recently. Very good, very good. |

I dont like batman. He doesnt have any powers...Phah.
|
I saw 28 Days Later, and really enjoyed it. I guess I'll have to see the sequel now...
Last week I finally got to see Hellboy. It was okay, but it seemed too much like an episode of a series to me. And I watched Ray! Great movie! He' has to be one of my all-time favorite musicians! |
I watched all three extended The Lord of the Rings films for some reason. A day well spent.
Some of the scene deletions for the cinema were unacceptable. A load of questions at the back of my mind were answered by them, such as the fate of several characters, and other scenes were just awesome. We get to see more wizard magic, at one point Saruman shoots a massive fireball at Gandalf. |
I ordered Pan's Labyrinth off NetFlix the other day and am patiently awaiting its arrival. I need to see that movie.
|
To BM:
I did the same thing with my father recently, who's a retired LOTR nut. Very good, very good. |
Today at work while I was waiting for a client, I watched Friday 13th (a Jason film, as I have a TV in my office, and we keep a big collection of DVDs in the staff lounge). It was quite good, but I've seen better films.
|
I have just seen Pirates of the Carribean (Sp) 3. It was better than I expected. And I really loved some of the scenes. It wasn't as good as One or Two but it was better than I expected. That is my view on it.
