The stuff in the source code of /whatifwetoldyoutoo is from a while back when the ARG was is a down period. OWI released some art from Stranger and Oddysee on Facebook and Twitter and stuff like "BELIKEDET" appeared in the background.

There are other 3 frames after that and yes, the count is 8 2 9 1.

The 8 2 9 1 digits can be found in the homepage: http://www.1029.io/. In the 1029 ascii logo, there are those 4 digits there to see, 9 and 1 close to the bottom. I have no idea if it also came somewhere else, I'm quite new to this ARG.

Sounds like the audio is the same of the one we got from the first transmission. The only difference is that we hear only one voice instead of multiple ones, and that must be the one from the mud going nuts.
I have a theory about this one, maybe someone figured it out before too:
The mudokons we hear in the first audio are in somekind of asylum or prison, and they're costantly analyzed by vykkers due to some problems and instabilities they have. The mud in the video for example is for sure the one from the third photo, and in that image there was a tag saying "subject instable". This kinda help to confirm my theory.

I thought it could be "Be like them", but like varrok suggested "Be like ed" is a valid option too.

And if you guys haven't checked yet, the Soulstorm main site changed again. They added the video on it and they wrote:
"More photos await to be sent to us by 1029, and then unlocked and decrypted by the community. What horrors will they show? Stay tuned to this page, Facebook and Twitter for updates as we get them, and please contribute in any way you can to solving the puzzles!"

But alright sorry.

I tried analysing the clip frame by frame, but other than the 8291 I found nothing else.

As for the audio, I wasn't here before so I can't really compare it against other audio files, but I didn't seem to find anything too out of place in the waveform or its spectrum. The voice is a bit out of sync, and there definitely is asynchronous noise going around, so I subtracted the L and R channels, cleaning it up a bit, but even then I didn't find much, if anything.


In regard to what's happening in the video, once we take in consideration what we found around the 1029.io sections, I think it's pretty clear the poor rebel muds are getting brainwashed and/or experimented upon, the poor things.

First, no need to feel bad, i moderate another site and i know, that if sometimes you don't do something slowly all hell breaks loose.

Secondly, the alphabets doesn't seem to match. The first rune could be an N, but then the second one? Maybe characters from the other alphabets must be used.
