In other biological trivia, here's a relative-scale image of the Paradoxical Frog. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-mG3e2U-roe...s_paradoxa.jpg In a rather insectoid approach to metamorphosis, the tadpole pre-consumes enough nutrients to fuel a practically instantaneous transformation into a frog - becoming up to three times the size of its adult form in the process. |
WHERE IN THE GRAND FUCK IS JESSICA RABBIT?
that's goddamn bullshit. i'm disappointed, so disappointed. who's the artist? what's their address? don't they realize how much sexy JR would add to that picture? ah, yes. Jessica Rabbit. the first cartoon character to give me a hard on when i was a kid. |

E:I just noticed that the bottom left is Link from a Link to the Past. And there's that coked-out Nesquick cereal rabbit. And the blue and green one in the mid-left is from Legend of Mana. And on the right is that half robot half rabbit chick from the Sonic archie comics. And there's a Digimon on the left but they got the colours backwards I think. It digieveleovleevolves into also a rabbit but with gun hands. This is fun. Someone post the robot one, I'm a fucking pro at the robot one. |

I bet you were behind that, WoF.
|
Yes, I was indeed behind a thousand Japanese fans of a show using the most sensible way to refer to the show on twitter.
This makes so much sense. |
|
You know, if you replace the people with Wil, Xavier and Pilot, it's pretty much exactly what I've assumed the first OddTour was like.

So in case any of you didn't hear, a bigwig in Microsoft went full retard last night when replying to rumours about the new Xbox and was lambasted by, of all people, a Bioware dev and Phil fucking Fish. So yeah. Forget the emerging super economies of Brazil and India. The fucking rural states of America aren't good enough for Microsoft apparently. |
This avatar doesn't look quite like Phil Fish.
Also, to this day I've never bought a vacuum cleaner or a mobile phone, so I guess that means I agree with Orthy |
God dammit, why are the people who are developing the next generation of consoles all universally stupid? It looks like we have a choice between a social media box with zero backwards compatibility, and an Xbox which requires you to have a flawless (read: nonexistent) Internet connection. And it'll probably be used to kill preowned games.
And don't even get me started on the Wii-U. |
PC it is then.
|
PC? So... like PS4?
|
I haven't had internet for four months because I'm a single dad, and it's a luxury I can do without to make sure my kid is clothed, and fed, and able to do the things a kid should be able to do. So now, when I do have a bit of extra cash to buy a game, I can't play it because I don't have an internet connection? No. I think not.

*laughs at OANST for being a console gamer*

Laughs at Varrok for never being flown to the Double Fine studios to hang out with Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert.
I had to think of something. |

The nice thing about open-source programming is that for every 2000 people who bitch about a problem, one of them will get off their arse (if only to sit down in a different chair) and try and fix it. I think the main issue with Linux is a simple lack of interest. While Microsoft provide comparatively user-friendly options, people will go with that.
If Valve's fanbase-wang is as mighty as it appears, their box might just push Linux into the limelight long enough for people to consider using it on their PC. And the more people use it, the stronger the support base becomes, the easier it becomes for others to use it yadda yadda yadda. Bottom line, if enough gamers use it, games companies will try harder to make their games compatible with Linux, and Linux programmers will try harder to make Linux work with games. |

I'm not fat either!
Anymore. |
Well... You're not in Double Fine studios anymore as well.

I'll always have the memories, baby. And the blurry photos. And the nice messages they send me from time to time.

I'll remind myself of that tonight when I'm having sex with my girlfriend.
