Nepsotic 09-22-2012 10:12 AM

Well, maybe I should wait, I don't want to bung anyone out if they want it.

Your choice, though.

Crashpunk 09-22-2012 02:17 PM

I'll take one of those Dota 2 codes Meech?

MeechMunchie 09-22-2012 02:42 PM

Done. We'll have to co-op some time. Also, watch this. Carefully.

Crashpunk 09-23-2012 04:03 AM

Thanks Meech! +rep.

Wings of Fire 09-23-2012 11:14 AM

So like, if you haven't found anyone to give the other pass to yet, I'll gladly accept it.

MeechMunchie 09-23-2012 11:19 PM

Will you actually play it? Not that I mind, but you'll happily admit that you never play your Steam games. And these are in fairly high demand, believe it or not.

For some perspective, go to the DOTA 2 Facebook page and all the comments are variations of "PLEEZ give beta key [email@address]".

Mr. Bungle 09-23-2012 11:38 PM

I'll take one of those beta keys if you've got any left. And yes, I will play it. Lots.

Wings of Fire 09-24-2012 07:25 AM

Give him it. Seriously.

MeechMunchie 09-24-2012 08:12 AM

Nothing personal, Wings. Just, you know, Fun:Beta key ratios.

I need to Friend you first, Bungle.

Wings of Fire 09-24-2012 08:38 AM

I'd argue my case if I was the only one who wanted it. The key point here being I'm not.

That's kind of why I waited a day before asking.

MeechMunchie 09-24-2012 02:19 PM

Yes, that's very considerate of you. Would you like to play it up a little more?

Wings of Fire 09-24-2012 02:31 PM

Absolutely.

MeechMunchie 09-24-2012 02:36 PM

We need to get Bungle in so he can thank you for waiting personally.

Wings of Fire 09-24-2012 02:52 PM

It's his obligation goddamnit.

Mr. Bungle 09-24-2012 02:52 PM

Thank you personally, WoF.

Wings of Fire 09-24-2012 02:55 PM

I live to serve.

MeechMunchie 09-24-2012 03:43 PM

I mean, I thought I was being charitable, giving things of $40 dollar retail value away for free, but WoF really leaves me in the shade.

I only wish I could be that mindful of others.

Varrok 09-24-2012 11:40 PM

What a coincidence! I need a liver.

Nepsotic 09-25-2012 08:38 AM

Thanks for that code MM!

MeechMunchie 09-29-2012 01:26 PM

Take a chance on this one people, it's good.

Crashpunk 10-06-2012 04:39 AM

The THQ Collection is an amazing deal. Now if only I had the cash...

http://store.steampowered.com/sale/THQWeekend2012

MeechMunchie 10-06-2012 06:04 AM

Titan Quest and DoW II are definitely worth picking up at those prices.

Dynamithix 10-09-2012 09:47 AM

Some Double Fine games are on sale on XBLA, Iron Brigade is now 400MSP and Stacking is 600MSP. I currently have 330MSP so I'll probably buy 500 more tomorrow and get Iron Brigade and the new Walking Dead episode.

OANST 10-10-2012 06:21 AM

Iron Brigade is amazing, and I will play it with you.

MeechMunchie 10-19-2012 03:54 PM

The God of Arbitrarily Selected Marketing Activity has blessed me with another DOTA 2 beta code. Let's all marvel at WoF's considerate nature again!

Ridg3 10-24-2012 10:35 AM

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood is down to a mere £5.00 on Steam. Should be worth the buy.

MeechMunchie 10-25-2012 05:29 AM

I now have TWO FREE DOTA 2 CODES.

Wings of Fire 10-25-2012 05:36 AM

And nobody is going to ask until I do.

MeechMunchie 10-25-2012 05:49 AM

How considerate of them.

Also, annoying. Do you realise how many hats I could get for these things?

Varrok 10-25-2012 07:13 AM

Yeah, how DARE you take away his chance to profit!

Crashpunk 10-30-2012 12:43 AM

Phylum 10-30-2012 12:52 AM

Fallout 3 GOTY is $10. Fallout NV Ultimate is $25. That's -50% on both of them.

dripik 10-30-2012 12:58 AM

I'm considering Dead Space 2 because I only bought the first one recently and I love that game.

But actually, there are many many games on sale right now, it's worth checking the sale catalogue to see if there's anything you really want.

Phylum 11-01-2012 01:07 AM

I picked up Fallout 3 GOTY and Fallout NV Ultimate for $35.

30 minutes later the boot drive on my Windows rig died. I couldn't even download a substantial amount of them in that time.

Is this a sign I need to get out more?

Varrok 11-01-2012 02:25 AM

It probably wouldn't happen if you only bought NV

Phylum 11-01-2012 03:04 AM

I was about to post something really aggressive then, but I realised how silly it was that I was getting worked up over my computer dying.

It is actually really annoying. It's a really expensive computer. About half of it worked out to be the fancy Hybrid SSD. If it is actually dead that's fucking ridiculous. I don't care if it's covered by warranty, it's inconvenient.

e: Oh, yeah. I happen to like FO3 more.

Crashpunk 11-01-2012 03:09 AM

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who liked New Vegas much more then Fallout 3...

Phylum 11-01-2012 03:12 AM

I'll admit that NV was a better game, but I just had so much more fun in FO3 for some reason.

It'll be interesting to see what I think if I get to play them on PC any time soon.

Varrok 11-01-2012 03:14 AM

It's probably nothing serious, I had some problems with my newest PC a while after I bought it and they're all gone

What brand of SSD is it? It's really not that ridiculous; SSDs fail all the fucking time. Some brands are worse than others, but even Intel's SSDs fail, and they're currently regarded as being the most reliable out there.
