I want to be nice so bad, but you people are going to drive me to fucking suicide.

Better? |
I've been trying to fund some Rare Bird albums lately. They're quite rare.
|
This beat is fucking great. The lyrics are in Finnish, so ignore it if you want to. It's a Finnish band called Turmion Kätilöt.
The first 10 seconds are a bit bland, but then it kicks in. Also, if you've heard this tune somewhere it's probably from this. |

Also, Da Octopusss is a fucking mastermind. Listen to this: |

Great. |
Awesome stuff, certainly my favorite Opeth album. Not a huge fan of their heavier stuff, but they have a few of 'em I enjoy. |
ehhhh I don't much care for that. Before I thought that was the same band as Otep, a band I was dragged into seeing with this girl lead singer that does manly voice growls.
|
I listened to the whole album Damnation earlier. It was good, but not quite as amazing as I used to think it was.

Just 'cause it's such a classic album. |
I posted this a couple pages back, but I'm not complaining. I think that this is my favorite NMH song.
|
I gotta go with either The King of Carrot Flower pt. 2, or Holland, 1945. They're all great, though.

|
One of my all-time favorite songs, and albums. A complete classic of extreme metal, and extremely influential. |

Dr. Frankenstein: It's pronounced Frankenstein, Igor. Igor: It's Igor. |
SUPER DUPER!

Yer, but I don't even think Taco's mom bought his second album.
No not our Taco. |
Extremely talented people, put your ears to this. |
Well, I hope I never hear that again.
|
Figures.
Maybe this is more your type: Probably not, though. I picked this album up today, it's pretty great so far. |
At school, my friend was listening to this song and then his earphones somehow fell or something and it was full volume and then everyone heard "MY DICK'S LIKE A SUPER BOWL, BRING THAT SUNNY SIDE UP." And everyone started laughing, including our teacher. He was so embarassed that day.

I saw the Blue Man Group on Tuesday night with my dad. Don't think there's much you can say about their shows, except that they're epic incarnate.
On a different note of perhaps equal awesomeness, I'm catching Noisia later tonight. Some jungle crew from Austin is hosting the event (up here in Dallas) for their 10 year anniversary, with support from a couple of dubstep collectives (one from here, one from Austin). I <3 drum and bass shows... the genre devotees are much more pleasant (and eclectic) company than the usual twats running around tweaking out at electronica events. |
