Crig was a... forum member, yet I forgot whether he was nice or not. He left since start 2004... as most of us did. And only some came back...

If you're referring to the Gorman Distenza virus (or whatever it was called), it never was in MO. In the Designer Diaries Paul O'Connor made it up to illustrate a point about continuity; if Munch were to contract the virus in an FMV, he would have to be ill when the next level begins.

Some poor fools actually thought that was a real plot point in the game.

How do you host downloads on OWF? The file I want to host is 4,982,819 bytes... quite large... It's a game I made based off of Hand of Odd... can anyone help me out? :confused:

I have a question...On killing ending(kill all 99 mudokons in oddysee and 300 in exoddus)and in save ending(rescue all 99 mudokons in oddysee and 300 in exoddus)are various movies??Or in killing ending see the bad ending and rescue ending the good ending??

I don't know if this is entirely true, miss NEELY. Crig was sort of like Alf's story telling partner. It is confirmed that he is a reacurring character in the Dear Alf section on oddworld.com. Someone may have just used:) his name for the fun of it, and may not have been the inhabitant. I don't know.

^^ I thought he was also supposedly a reporter for the Daily Deception? In the online Daily Deception newspapers at oddworld.com I'm sure it says Crig the Slig reporting for some 'articles'.

So, I was just thinking and wondering....
If the Mudokon queen is under Industrial control....
...how can there be Native Mudokons in the first place? Somewhere I read that the Natives were never enslaved. How can this be?

Born before Sam was enslaved.
That's two ways, the second less likely, though the first is under an assumption there is more than one queen. (it would make sense, but we have no official proof, and Sam's importance in Munch's Oddysee (before the game was screwed over) sort of suggests she is the only queen. At least the only one alive.)

Sam is currently the only Mudokon Queen alive. There's never been any official explanation as to the Native Mudokons. The laziness of the Natives in Munch's Oddysee suggests they're actually liberated Mudokons, but of course there are Natives before Abe's liberated anyone, and they've quite different minds to the city-folk they don't take kindly to. That's basically why, at the end of Abe's Exoddus, Abe comments about the Mudokons slowly coming together.

Sorry to state the obvious but they could have been Sam's children from before she was enslaved. We've no idea how long that has been; Abe may well have been one of the first slaves at Rupturefarms... but I doubt it.

Does anyone know what the Eugue (sp?) Estate is? It's on the Oddoworld dvd. I know it has something to do with the Magog Cartel, I think it might be Maggie's home. Can someone shed some light on this?

I too have a question. In rupturefarms, how can they make the products they make if the animal shrivels away when it is killed? If they kill the animals, then they can't use the meat, right?

They probabley dont kill em until they are in Rupture Farms, that way they can put them in meat grinders.

Yeah, but then the meat would turn bad in the meat grinders. And yes, they do keep them alive until they get to Rupture Farms (stock yards).
