I've posted it everywhere and pm'd them it so...

Did you post it to their twitter?

OrangeLightning 03-06-2017 08:26 AM

Welcome back, Shade! :)

Just saw that they finally saw Vyrien's Vykker on Facebook a bit ago, so hopefully that will be up and posted soon too!

Hey, I was just looking at the recap Oddworld posted on their site for the last image and I noticed something interesting

http://www.oddworld.com/2017/03/thir...orse-mudokons/

14482

In the section called 'Save Us' they mention the ASSET9X websites and that they think their may be something left to find on them. I'm not sure if this is something they will have come into play for Photo #4 or what, but the I'm thinking since they're mentioning it now there may be something for us left to do on those pages.

edgar89 03-06-2017 10:26 AM

I think what's missing is the message written on the glass and/or the Vykker's reflex since they don't mention it in the article.

But they mentioned the Glass Message in their Twitter..
But the reflection they seem to "not have any idea" what it is
weirdly enough, the theory for the second image, "shows a reflection" too...
Huh...

Vyrien 03-06-2017 01:54 PM

They've seen it on both facebook and twitter now yeah.

Perhaps I missed something, but what was the alphabet used in the scratches?

It was a language for the blind in Scotland made in 1836.
I never thought to look into a language for the blind.

"BLIND" you say?
...huh...

Yup, such a clever little detail too.

Oh yeah? Which one?

I can't seem to find a name or anything, after seeing the image the guy used to figure the runes out I could make out "1836 Blind Scottish Language" at the top and then found it on google images.
This is the only site I can find with a tiny bit of info.

Alright, sweet! Good to know we're all caught up :D Thanks, Alex!

I don't know if there's one particular alphabet they took from, it seems like they may have just made it up for this!

Xavier 03-07-2017 12:44 PM

My guess is that we still need to find what's behind the [REDACTED] part of the URL at the top of the 12362831522212 and 71220283136 pages:
:

ASSET9X / [REDACTED] / 333333333333
Those pages link to the following pictures:

http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...522212/WHA.jpg
http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...283136/TIF.jpg
http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...522212/WET.jpg
http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...283136/OLD.jpg
http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...522212/YOU.jpg
http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...283136/TOO.jpg

The file names spell: What if we told you too

Somehow I think this sentence is important as it can only be found when using clues coming from both pages.

Are there any other clues I'm forgetting?

Sorry, I meant the opposite. You have all you need to follow the trail.

Vanilla ✜ 03-08-2017 01:29 AM

There's still more? Is there something we missed? :fuzconf:

Xavier 03-08-2017 01:44 AM

Yes, that's pretty much exactly what Alex is saying.

tmakz 03-08-2017 04:31 AM

Well were on break no word on pic 4 yet hopefully it resumes soon im Hoping something from Ed or Spirit of 1021 will show up.

I haven't been following properly... what are we supposed to be looking for?

Could you give us some hint?

I have no clue where to start. I've been looking at those "Work, Obey, Comply" pictures for so long I feel as brainwashed as a Mudokon

Ah gotcha xD Sorry, my bad! I figured there had to be something left to do with those pages; usually each of the images we get from new URLs are used in some way, but this time we just sort of found them and then the cleaned up version came out and that was it. I guess it's time to get back to sleuthing ;)

I'm wondering if maybe it does have more to do with the sentence the photo names make when put together than with the actual photos. I remember someone mentioning earlier that 'WHAT IF WE TOLD YOU TOO' could also be 'WHAT IF WE TOLD YOU TO O----' with the second 'O' being the beginning of a new word; so maybe we need to look for a missing photo?

Xavier 03-08-2017 09:39 PM

Well that's an interesting idea...

My first thought was "Obey" but there's no image at that address:

http://www.1029.io/repository/asset9...522212/BEY.jpg

AlexFili 03-09-2017 05:19 AM

These teaser images are really well made. I wonder which bits will be expanded on in the game. Saving insane mudokons sounds tough.

I tried a bunch of different words to no success... Wrong track maybe? Here's the words I tried - I just put the first three letters at the end of both URLs (minus the O's of course) plus .jpg:

object, observe, obtain, occupy, offend/offer, open, operate, oppose, order, organise

I could've flunked it somewhere too ;)

Shade_Meadows 03-09-2017 04:34 PM

It could be that more clues to that is coming With the next pic... but who knows!
this could be a code to help the next pic, we'll see!

Ah shoot, I was kinda hoping it was gonna be 'BEY', too xD hmmm, maybe it's not a missing photo after all... but in that case I'm not really sure where to start looking  The way that they phrased it in their latest update made it seem like it's something on those ASSET9X pages, but I have no idea what it could be. If it has to do with the photos themselves or the redacted stuff on the page... It may even be from an earlier part of the photo 3 puzzle that maybe we missed.

OWI_Alex 03-13-2017 04:20 AM

The interesting thing is that we a) know that at least one person has found the next step in the puzzle and b) they're very good at reading... ;)
