I really disliked the 10th Doctor. I think I'll gladly accept the change to a more intellectual incarnation instead of *just* eccentric / batshit crazy.

They're just sulking that they can't crush on and fantasise about the Doctor any more. Not that that was every supposed to be a viable reaction to him anyway.

Give it a couple of episodes. They'll be getting hot and bothered yet.

I haven't watched Dr Who for ages, but I think that new doctor seems a lot better than the last few.

I liked the series that had Eccleston as the Doctor.

I rewatched a few episodes from that series recently. He really was quite brilliant as the Doctor. Too bad he was let down by a pile of shitty writing.

Eccleston was my favourite last doctor, everyone who came after him was horse manure.

There's never been a problem with the actors. They're all great Doctors, it's just some had worse writing than others. That's the reason Matt Smith is so underrated by the 'respectable' Doctor Who fans. Please note, I'm not talking about fucking whovians.
