no but you can keep going back to his shrine to get daedra hearts, those two dremora respawn every now and again

I finally did it, I killed Paarthurnax just to complete a misc. objective.
Feels fucking bad man, he was so cool and all. I only did it because I wanted to complete all my misc. objectives. I miss him already. :( |
That's it, I'm starting again. A number of irreversible annoyances have accumulated, and now that I'm level 43 I'm chucking it in and starting over with an identical character.
God damn pseudOCD. |

*Double-posts - 12 hour rule*
I fail at trying to be funny and the text in the postcard wasn't witty enough. You gotta give me full marks for effort, though. No really, I'm now a proud owner of Skyrim now after I saw it on sale and discovered that the crappy graphics card I'm borrowing can just about run it... Like treacle. I'm glad I played through a bit of Oblivion first, as an introduction to The Elder Scrolls. Skyrim is far, far more polished (Not because Oblivion is an old game - You really do notice how stiff NPCs and the PC are) and I'm glad they refined the gameplay and took out most of the annoying parts such as weapon durability (repairing your gear after every other fight got tedious) and how much magic charge weapons store (I had to stockpile hundreds of soul gems and spent ages running around killing mobs to fill them initially). But yes, so far I'm seeing just why this is game of the year, despite the numerous glitches. Gives you lots of freedom of choice, the atmosphere is fantastic, you can easily get immersed in it, there's lots to do and things to see. So, thanks again for introducing me to it. :) |
K, so Skyrim is awesome, but theres one thing I'm having trouble with:
I'm on the quest to kill the dragon Sahloknir, but for some reason, this Delphine chick that is supposed to be helping me, keeps trying to kill me (along with many random denizens of a nearby inn). I've recently contracted vampirism, so maybe this is why they're doing this? I don't know, but having everyone trying to kill me is getting old. Fast. Anyone know how I can cure myself of my vampirism and get all these people to stop trying to kill me for doing absolutely nothing? |
Step one, to stop people from attacking you you must feeeeeeeeedddd.
After that, see here: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/V...m_%28Skyrim%29 |
Stab cat is not amused:
http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1325145507 I'll never get bored of the deathcam in this game. :) |
I get bored when it's my head being lopped off for the fiftieth time by the same guy.
|
Just joined the Dark Brotherhood last night. Not sure when I'm gonna be playing Skryim again, though, 'cause my brother broke my only copy, and I'm outta cash. Grr. I wanna kill bitches.
|
I joined in with the companions,im gonna be a harbinger soon :D .I also found a way to bring back npcs that have been accidentaly killed in a brawl that you need.
|
I got to play for fifteen minutes or so the other day. I levelled up twice on the guide dude before the people who I was with shouted at me to do something more interesting, so I went to some town and put buckets on people's heads to steal things, only I didn't see the little girl and she told her mum, who attacked me with a knife.
|
I spent much of my time levelling up armourer skill by making a lorry load of daggers and leather bracers - My cat got a legendary set of light dragonscale armour when she was level 30 since I saved up my dragon parts since the start of the game. That's certainly helped me a bit, but it does feel a little like cheating, although some enemies are still as hard as nails - Perhaps it should be like Warcraft where you need to make increasingly harder-to-create armour in order to level up your skill.
Skyrim is perhaps one of the longest single-player games I've played - 54 hours in and I'm only level 37, I've only done the beginning of the main quest, the entire companions quest line, most of the Whiterun sidequests and half of the college questline. I've been looking at other people's playtimes and some are over 300 hours... And I thought 102 hours on FFXII was very long. But that's a good thing - It drags on but it's somehow still interesting for me. Hats off to Bethesda. If they made an MMO like Skyrim - But for the entire of Tamriel, they'd have a good chance of significantly competing with WoW. I wonder if that's what they're planning? |
Im currently lvl 52,i have quite high skills,i didnt do much quests...
and i have married a nord female, and i got enchanted ebony armor complete set with weapons. Also my race is Kajiit female... XD |
You dirty lesbian.
I made a new character just a while ago; Logar the Madman! Specialized in two-handed melee weapons and heavy armour. He's level 6 as of now. And he's a stormcloak (a true son of Skyrim). I also made me some cool enchanted daedric armour on my main character and renamed them to Demigod Armour. That sounds pretty neat eh? Also 3000 posts nigga |
Started playing again after I got back from my two weeks in Reno. It was sort of hard to get back into it, honestly. I felt almost disconnected from my character, which was weird. But I'm back into the full swing of things now, and loving it just as much.
Although I do admit that I've thought of making another character and having them spec'd as a heavy armor and two handed weapon favoring warrior...Mostly because that's what I've played in past TES games. Well, I usually use a sword and shield, but meh. And it's not that I dislike my current character, because he's pretty great. I've never really been one to play the thief/assassin/ranger type, but my Argonian Cerberus definitely falls into those categories. I only use a bow [maxed out on all perks], sneak constantly, and pick the hell out of every lock I come across. My only real complaint is that it seems like because I'm only wearing/perked in light armor, my options are really limited. I mean I've been wearing a mixture of dark brotherhood and thieves guild armor for what seems like ages. The only really decent thing I have is a helm/dragon priest mask with some nice effects. Has anyone tried learning/taking the enchantments off of the thieves and dark brotherhood armor so they could enchant some better gear with the same effects? |
Sir Stinkface is progressing quite well as a thief/assasin/mage/werewolf type of guy. For an Argonian anyways.
Now all I need to do is stop Side questing and get on with the main story. |
:
However you can recreate them. Most, if not all of these effects exist as other enchantments on ordinary items. I'm currently raising my enchantment and alchemy skills so that I can put two powerful enchantments on every item of apparel. Not sure which ones yet, though I'm thinking of stacking four instances of Fortify Health Regeneration and Fortify Stamina Regeneration. Incidentally, there are four item types that can be enchanted with the Fortify [School of Magic] effect which reduces the Magicka cost of those kinds of spells. And the best effect possible is 25% reduction. Free spells, anyone? Elemental Destruction perks and Fortify enchantments also affect the appropriate elemental weapon enchantments. Which means the Fire Damage perks in Destruction improve created Fire Damage enchantments on weapons, and all four 25% Fortify Destruction enchantments on clothes will make enchanted weapons consume no charge when used. I've been experimenting. |

And it was damn useful, along with my Sneak-fortifying Thievin' Boots. |
I started leveling up my two-handed melee and I did the daedric quest to get Ebony Blade. That sword is wicked, you can only upgrade it by killing people that are loyal to you.
I might be a heartless bastard, but hey, my sword deals more damage now! |
Well im up to lvl 53,my skills are quite high,im gonna enchant my ebony armor, for now i have only enchanted my ebony bow and sword to immobilizing, its quite useful for fighting stronger opponents....Also i have the ability to one shot kill someone with an arrow when im in an ambush position. Also i became a master assassin.
|
Does anyone know the level cap in this game? I'm already level 27 (mostly due to smithing/alch/enchanting) and still have, like, 70% of the game left to do.
|
81 is the max level you can reach. It requires every skill to be 100.
|
well the mathematical cap is 81 i think, but one of my friends has reached lvl 115 without any cheating or anything.
|
Oh. I didn't know that. Maybe you can continue leveling and gaining perks after 81.
|
well i went searching around and as it seems that you can reach up to 300 lvl but thats quite hard, and it needs lots of monsters to be killed.
|
I accidentally the women of Solitude
http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1325947367 This bad? |
U killed em all XD
Killing ppl removes quests, and sometimes it might interfere with the main quests. So if you want to resurrect em no need to reset your save game.Just press that tile button left to one and up to tab, select the dead body by clicking on it,and type resurrect. Also if you want your ebony blade to be even more powerfull you can also use resurrect 1 i think on killed friendly npcs so you can kill em over and over again. |
I play on the Xbox though. But I've already done almost every proper quest in the game, so it doesn't worry me.
