I found a wolf!

Yeah, I just died and it never worked for me either. Luckily my house was about five feet from my spawn point.

Fun fact: you can feed them raw porkchops.

I knew that, I first thought you have to feed them those to gain their trust.

My younger brother's found three wolves now. He couldn't stop going on about it yesterday.

Any of you found the Steve Co Supply Crates? I told my brother there was something cool if he explored where he'd never been before. I thought it'd take a while to find one, but he found two almost straight away.

I need to get on and find some wolves. And get my bed to work - my spawn point is nearly a day's journey from my house at the moment.

Create a little hole and let some water in it, surround the hole with torches and don't sleep at night, just watch the animals follow the light and fall in to the hole, I found my first wolf like that.

How hard are they to find? My brother's tamed three, but he's found a few packs of 2 - 5 wandering around.

Well, I was looking for them for pretty long, but then when I did that thing I just told, there were 2 wolves in the waterhole. (Heheh, waterhole.)

I've spotted two wolves since the update (the second of which I tamed); both were wandering alone.

You can have as many as you want now, but they said they'll add a limit in the future.

I now have a pack of four wolves.

I keep them in the house because I don't want them to die. :C

I have only 2, their names are Zed & Ned. They are brothers.

You can now find brown sheep and get brown wool now - I suppose Notch must've added that back in because of re-adding cocoa beans (I didn't take a better screenshot and they seem to spawn rarely):

EDIT: Why did I think it was coffee? Mmm, coffee. That would be a cool thing to make as a food item - Maybe it'd increase your movement/tool-usage speed for a time. :P

Speaking of sheep, I'm trying my hand at a little pixel art, and I'd just like to say that I fucking hate hunting the bleating bastards.

Put a bunch of torches on a grassy area at night. It's a fucking orgy of passive mobs.

I dyed a sheep purple once, he looks fucking ridiculous.

It's a pity sheep de-spawn, otherwise you could see it every now and then just walking past. It would also be cool to keep an enclosure of rainbow sheep.

How do you get nice overviews like that? I've searched around bit trying to find out, but no luck.

I need to work more on my overland stuff. Build different buildings and farms and crap, so it looks good from above.
