Watched the first three episodes of 30 Rock Season 4 with dinner tonight. GodDAMN that show is good.

3rd Rock From the Sun sucks. 30 Rock is watchable.

Black Dynamite- Excellent movie, aside from some short dull parts, everything was awesome.

Zombieland- Liked it about as much as I remember liking it when it came out, which is good.

Extract- Didn't laugh that much until the last half hour or so, the characters were likable enough though.

The Strangers: Not as scary as I remember, but still interesting to watch.

I make that misreading every single time I look through the TV guide.

WALL-E. Good God, how I wish I had seen this in theatres. I loved every minute of it. The story, characters, and, especially, style were all just fantastic. It was way better than Up.

Toy Story 3. Pretty much every good thing that people in the thread have already said. The ending was utterly sweet.

Casablanca for the first time the whole way though. No wonder it´s the most highly revered classic.

Little Miss Sunshine. Probably one of my most favorite films now. It was so incredibly witty and touching.

First half of Wall-E was spectacular. Second preachypreachy half being all THINK ABOUT THE STATE OF THINGS not so much. Splendid film nonetheless.

Land of the Dead.

Agreed. Also, the human characters were rather dull compared to the robots.

No. If the humans were actually good characters who only appeared dull when compared to the awesomeness of the robots, then fine. But they were actually dull and appeared even duller with the comparison.

I also loved the parts without humans and without dialogue the best.

The message wasn't about the environment, it was about what happens when we sit around and do nothing for our whole lives. Fucking up the environment is just one of the results.

The Thus Spoke Zarathustra moment was still one of the best scenes!

I think that concentrating on a particular message takes a lot of the steam out of the film. The themes of loneliness mixed with child-like wonder are so beautifully done that it's almost heart breaking, and it's this emotional resonance that made the film important to me.

It was a fun, silly-ass movie. If you can get past the fact that the two main characters (Nic and Tristan Puehse or Poose or something) can't act for shit, it was just plumb dumb fun.

It's a shame there weren't more fucking zombies in it, though. I expected shit and got shit.

I too was sorely disappointed by Zombieland. Lack of gore, annoying protagonist, not enough Murray.

They look like the Olsen twins in (reverse) drag.

Also, does anyone else think that Zooey Deschanel turned down the role of babysitter, so the producers got someone who looked just like her instead?

I'm kind of a fan of Zooey Deschanel, and I never noticed a remarkable similarity.

saw Predators last night.

It was good. I liked how it had the original soundtrack from the first movie.

Inception- At its core, its a heist film. Its good at what it does though, can't say I was bored at any point in the film really. Not much of a mind fuck, save for some moments and visuals. Also the ending,should of just let the fucking top drop. Would have been much better for closure and a better ending overall, instead of the Shamalan shit ANOTHER TWIST?! Ending they tried to do.
