I'm confused.

Man, what a dick!

I'm reading through some History book or another.

Actually I currently live in Australia.

Hence the "or some shit."

I have nothing to contribute. Except I remember Jane Eyre boring the shit out of me. Save for the Victorian speak. Yummy.

Wings of Fire 04-25-2009 10:35 AM

Got quite the reading list today from my monthly outing to the World Outside. Starting the second volume of Sandman as we speak, also finally found a copy of Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil that I shall be ploughing through and also bought a couple of Yu-Gi-Oh mangas to sate my addiction and finally a introductory guide to Ethics to supplement my revision for my incoming Philosophy exams.

Other than that, I doubt it really counts but I'm reading through my professor's lecture notes on my Philosophy modules. Man is such an elitist it's legendary, he uses the word 'Ignorant' at least five times on every page, usually in the same sentence as 'sloppy' and sometimes preceding 'idiots'.

Dixanadu 05-07-2009 12:48 PM

I'm reading The Forge Of God by Greg Bear.

It's quite gripping.

Wings of Fire 05-08-2009 10:27 AM

On to The Princess Bride finally, looking forward to an epic read.

Strike Witch 05-08-2009 12:50 PM

Reading the Code Geass Nightmare of Nunally manga.

Compared to the compressed trainwreck of a show, the Manga's idea of four different alternate stories means that I'm gonna find one I like eventually. Plus Nemo is a pretty decent character, so eh.

Dixanadu 05-08-2009 01:44 PM

By Nemo, I hope you don't mean that clown fish. He really grinds my gears.

Chick to the lower right.

Dixanadu 05-09-2009 12:48 AM

Now that's angry sex.

Strike Witch 05-09-2009 01:20 AM

Not really, it's more like mental superduper sexyinterface. Or something.

Dixanadu 05-09-2009 01:44 AM

SAI BUR SECKS. I think it's called.

Wings of Fire 05-09-2009 04:44 AM

I've had cybersex, no robots were involved.

Anonyman! 05-09-2009 01:43 PM

They should have been involved.

Technophilia. It's quite the delightful romp (slippery oil).

MA 05-11-2009 08:58 AM

finished reading The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub quite a while ago.

one of my favourites.

Strike Witch 05-11-2009 12:28 PM

Hm, this Yu-Gi-Oh manga isn't that bad.

Though my favourite game he came up with is the icehockey of doom.

Anonyman! 05-11-2009 01:21 PM

Xenophile actually. Just not to Pilot's extent.

Fucking moron. Technophilia is too broad.

Idiot.

I go through weird obsessive phases where I'll readreadread for, like, a week and then the next time I try and read I'll be like "You know what, I need to rearrange all the cabinets in the house". So my reading is unfortunately sporadic.

Technically, the book I'm currently reading is my Personality Theory textbook for class. It actually is very interesting, a fairly good read for a textbook. Non-textbookly, I have recently attempted to read the first book of Warriors but the writing is a wee bit too juvenile for me (to be fair, it is written for young teens...but so was Silverwing and that was fabulous). Next book I'm going to read within the next few days will be "American Psycho", "A Stir of Echoes", "The Bad Seed", or "Wind-up Bird Chronicles", haven't decided yet.

Wings of Fire 05-31-2009 02:28 PM

Ulysses.

Enough said.

used:) 05-31-2009 02:41 PM

I read the dramatic monologue about Ulysses.

Not actively reading anything, right now. However, I really must finish the graphic novels my friend lent me.

I am currently reading "Life and times of the Thunderbolt Kid" by Bill Bryson and it is hilarious.

ABM

Bill Bryson is awesome I strongly recommend "A Short History of Nearly Everything".

In a few minutes I'm gonna start listening to an audio book if that counts, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" very excited for this

Mac Sirloin 06-01-2009 05:34 AM

I'm reading Maus for the third time. I wish I could track down some form of one of Vladek's recordnings, apparently hearing him speak is quite the experience.

Wings of Fire 06-01-2009 05:38 AM

It couldn't possibly be better than the deep gruff Yiddish accent I hear in my head every time I read.

Wings of Fire 06-02-2009 05:10 PM

And now I'm reading the graphic novel adaption of Kafka's Metamorphosis and Gaiman's Mister Punch.

And no, I haven't finished Ulysses yet, I'm only human.

bobtheguy 06-03-2009 07:34 PM

to be honest, nothing.

Wings of Fire 06-03-2009 11:17 PM

Outta my thread, now.
