Due to constriction of the inferior alveolar nerve as it passes through the mandible foramen on its way to the tongue, there are only a limited set of combinations of sounds that a human being can actually produce. For example, it is physically impossible to pronounce the words 'eye', 'laws', 'dug' and 'aim' in sequence.

So, I connect with this nice-looking guy online, we chat for a bit, realise we have a lot in common and decide to meet up. Turns out the photo is a few years old, when he was a few kilos lighter. Still a nice guy, but the slight pot belly (not to mention the bushy chest hair sticking out the top of his shirt) is a bit of a turnoff. I'm trying to convince myself that I'm not shallow, so we're still hanging out and seeing how things go.
