Doctor Who (Australian airing so week behind)

When did the Doctor say that they're some enemy in the future? I think that they're meant to be something we haven't seen yet.


The second episode was better than the first.

Didn't they grow people out of Flesh in that hospital episode? I seem to recall the people in it were grown or clones or something.

I also seem to recall a scene in which they encounter the Flesh. It must have been in season 1 or 2, because I remember Rose being part of it.

Yeah, Sontarans are aliens; they've been at war with another group of aliens for several thousand years.
The flesh is something new, though not necessarily something you haven't seen before (won't say more 'cus of spoilers). The second episode of the two-parter was definitely better than the first. But the end of the second episode is horrific for the character involved! Possibly the worst thing that has happened to a Doctor Who Companion ever, including Sara Kingdom getting aged-to-death in under a minute.

I was thinking more of what the aliens did/are doing to her.

At least tell me there was an episode where they grew people. My dad is prone to imagining things like these and I'd hate to think I'm the same.

Define growing people. How is what they did in New Earth not growing?

I don't think "don't spoil me Europeans and others who are ahead of me" means "use spoiler tags".

With no TV reception I have to resort to other means, and therefore watch the episodes as they air in the UK... but I've been camping for a week so I haven't seen the Almost People yet.

Regarding the Rebel Flesh... all I have to say is that their catchy nickname "ganger" makes me wince every time they say it. Oh, and that the ganger woman stretching out her neck like Alice on mushrooms really spoilt everything.
