Gig-iddy? Gigiddy. Hurr Durr.

Last night I went to a gig that my mate's band, Backstab Burial, were playing at, along with many other bands. It was a metal night so the music might not be to your taste, but many people said Backstab Burial were by far the best.

There's nothing like a good mosh pit, so I jumped in and got twatted round the side of the head and bust my nose. A good night was had by all. My friend took a photo, catching the moment just before there was a mutual facepunch.

I've adjusted the brightness and contrast so you can actually see. I'm the body attached to the blue shirt, right in the middle, back to the camera.

Moshing is fun. When I saw Converge a few months ago, the pit was absolutely insane. I was in the middle for a little bit, only feel down twice! Got bruised up quite a bit, but they've all healed.

I'm going to see Asking Alexandria, I think it's next February. I can only imagine what the pits are going to be like there.

I do not see the point in moshing. I go to gigs to see the band perform live and enjoy the music. Not smash into other homosexuals.

I like moshing to some of my favourite songs, but going to a show just to mosh is silly. Converge is my favourite band ever, though, so I was so ecstatic to be there I couldn't control my body.

Moshing can be fun depending on the music and/or how fucked up you are at the time.

EDIT: I just remembered I used to know a guy who indirectly killed someone in a mosh. He accidentally knocked him on the ground and then some other guy smashed his head in without knowing. Fun fact.

Moshing isn't fun. Nor is it cool. Why on earth would anyone want to pay for a ticket to see a band they like if some arsewipes want to go and spoil it all by flinging their limbs around like an epileptic octopus?
