Has your fandom turned to shit yet?

Furry fandom is still the same whiny, emo, no self respect, internet porn community it always has been. Not much as changed over the years I think.

I would call myself a 'fan' of Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Naruto and Zelda.

I am also quick to distinguish myself from all of these fanbases, especially Naruto's.

The Doctor Who fandom appears consist of greasy saddos, a few of which haven't even seen the old ones.

I don't think I belong to a fandom. Oh, wait.

The Oddworld fandom fucking sucks.

The last thing I was a fan of was Invader Zim, particularly Tallest Red and Purple. Still a fan of those two, especially the SLASH.

Unfortunately its been out for well over a few years with only a few stragglers clinging onto it for dear life.

Not to mention the trendy stores still trying to make a buck off of GIR's face.

I think it's time for Shinichiro Watanabe to churn out another series. What genres will blend this time?

Seriously though, I love him.

Hollywood is completely devoid of any originality and creativity. Every big THRILLER OF THE YEAR is either a live-action adaptation of a show from their main demographic's childhoods or a ressurection of a movie that shouldn't even be touched. If they screw with To Kill a Mockingbird, so help me God I don't bust a nut.

As for music. Well, it started to decline ages ago. In film score: Yeah, John Williams is good, but he's not really raising the bar IMO and there are better composers in the atmospheric area of things. Hans Zimmer is an overrated hack. I'm really glad to see composers unique in their own regard coming into prominence. Though the only big film I saw last year was Slumdog Millionaire, (whose music I didn't really think much of simply because it wasn't my kind of music. I thought it accompanied the film well though.) I'm glad to see composers like Alexandre Desplat and Thomas Newman getting their names on award nominations. Ultimately, I would love to see more of the old stuff like Ennio Morricone. I'm genuinely pissed that he didn't end up writing for Inglourious Basterds. My personal belief is that it should be able to stand well both as film music and concert music, and that's why I admire composers like John Williams.

I like to think that the Batman Begins and TDK scores were just one big in joke; "BWOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG BWWOOOOOO BUPBUTUPPABUTBUTUPPA BWOOOOOOOOOOOOONG.

People in the Megaman Battle Network Fanbase who think that the old Battle system was 'too hard' and the new SF one is easy to get into. The new one fucking sucks. Imagine having to fight someone, but only being able to do it in a line of .5 meter squares. It renders so many fucking attacks impossible to dodge.

Oh, and people who whine about Megaman Legends 3 never being released. Like the first two weren't incredibly mediocre.

He didn't write the somewhat interesting parts either. They called in James Newton Howard to do it. Any music student could have done that shit!

Oddworld has developed into some huge paradox where the incredibly stupid happen to be the smartest people in the world.

I still avoid the Halo fandom.

Castlevania is still purging the whiners and yaoi crapola from it's system. "The morning shadow has vanquished the horrible Iga game"

Metroid is all hyped up on fangasms.

Okami is the only thing I found was worth playing on the Wii. I'm going to tread carefully now and hope to god I don't run into any beastiality.

Inuyasha isn't even worth it any more. Not going to touch it.
