Tilly wasn't ours.


Tilly belonged to my moms best friend. I knew Tilly for about 13-14 years. She was an Australian Shepherd (like Milo and Moe, the latter of which died a few years ago.) and she was a colorful dog. One of her eyes was slightly discolored, you could pick her face up from pretty far off. She was friendly but prone to territoriality.

Tilly was put down last Thursday.

I think she suffered from Hip dysplasia, but I don't really want to ask. All I know is that she started walking funny a couple of months ago and it got particularly bad this past month.


I'll miss Tilly. It's not that I saw her often, or that she belonged to us at any point, but I'll miss her. She was a good dog, and has every right to Doggy heaven or some kind of transdimensional paradise.
