More wonderful than we are normally inclined to think.

Yet we should nor sing at all neither rejoice unless our love is ruinless.

Why "ethnic" music?

Ah, that is just because in German "Volksmusik" (folks-moo-zik) means the music, that people play in bars. The term ethnic is just less ambiguous, or am I wrong?

No it doesn't, ethnic music would suggest "foreign" music to an English speaking person, typically traditional music of said country. For instance, MalagueƱa is song of the Malaga gypsies that we consider to be ethnic.

With that being said, Eluveitie is great, I used to love Inis Mona.

Do you like Tuvan music? Yat-kha are a great band, had a great first album. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8ke59u4rBI
And if you want some raw unbridled throat singing, there's a great album called 'Uzlyau:Guttural Singing', which I can't find on youtube, sadly.

I do enjoy shamanic music, yet it is sometimes way too intense for me.

Yeah, it can be quite heavy. Relaxing sometimes though, depending on the piece. it's interesting to hear the women's throat singing sometimes too

Eluveitie is considered as ethnic music? I always thought they were Gothenburg-styled Melodic Death Metal.
