These are the sort of comments that irritate me the most. There is no reason for you to bring our religion (or lack thereof) into things, even if it is just part of a joke (since, at least for me, it doesn't convey particularly well). It is well-known that you are a Christian (because of the myriad disputes about Christianity there have been), so (whilst I can't speak for other folk) I feel that that fact is being forced down the throats of people like myself who aren't really that interested in that with these (what appear to me to be quite frequent) unnecessary remarks.
I do not intend to get into any kind of an argument about this, because it's boring now, but I felt compelled to give you my opinion on the matter.

As someone who generally doesn't read threads, STM's Christianity was unknown to me. Consequently I parsed his joking CT as "antagonist who is atheist."
