So, yeah, the 2 weeks in Spain are up!
Not the best holiday TBH, certainly not a patch on last year, but not the worst by any means. A bunch of people I was intending/expecting to meet up with each went at different times- some before, some after, which was a pity, and meant for the first 9 days I had little to do and nobody to talk to.
Still, rest of the holiday was decent- some people I was meeting did arrive, and there were a few good times and a few good laughs. I'll certainly miss the weather, and a fair bit of the food. Had a mysterious seafood dish for the last night, all sorts of bizarre stuff was in it, and I daren't guess at what some of it was. Was delicious all the same, though.
Funny though, it doesn't feel like 2 weeks. It's raced by, worryingly fast. And as always, we'll consider going somewhere else but end up going back next year.
Despite the lack of quite a few buddies this year, it's still a great place.
