AG: I don't see how we're supposed to 8e 8ecoming friends if you recoil from my olive 8ranch like I'm twitching a mummified 8ovine phallus in your direction.
CG: BECOMING FRIENDS, WHAT THE FUCK.
CG: WE WILL NEVER BE FRIENDS, MORON.

AG: Not even h8 friends?
CG: NO. MORE LIKE TWITCHY EYED PROJECTILE VOMITING IN UTTER DISGUST FRIENDS, WHILE I PERFORATE MY BONE BULGE WITH A CULLING FORK.

WHOOOOOP! I'm outta here bishies!

Withdrew from the hellhole, and i'm back in homeschool now. The nice thing about oklahoma is that the government can't intervene, so it's baisically like a vacation sort of thing where I get to learn what I want. Namely, from my parent's old highschool books. Theres stuff in there they never mention in today's schools. And the information there is USEFULL. Emphasis on the word: USEFULL!

In one of the mathbooks, it has several chapters dedicated to math in the home, like, making a budget, adjusting recipies, doing your taxes, getting insurance, USEFULL things like that.

Also, I forgot to mention, did any of you guys celebrate Winter-een-mas?

I broke my old zero mission record and cut it down to about one hour. Also, while my dad was visiting, he gave me my x-box back, and now I have all the time in the world to practice for kicking his ass. I won about 1/3 rounds.

After-christmas rocked baisically, he brought over the presents that were too risky to send in the mail. Like, say, Halo3:legendary edition. The bad part was that I couldn't swear in excitement because everybody here goes to church (and yet the old ladies can spew enough curses to make a brooklyn dweller blush).

I got my gamecube games, so now I'm not totally dependant on blockbuster. Unfortunately, dad misread the box and that metroid prime 2 disc was just a demo. I should have known nintendo would never pose a deal like that.

Also: Floog spiders rule. And it's the awesomest word so far. What do you think the warped definition should be?

Sounds like you got many gaming related presents and are lucky enough to stay home and play them.

Just one thing that homeschooling doens't teach you... 'usefull' is actually spelt 'useful'

You may joke about it now but she'll have the last laugh with her knowledge of math undiminished by any findings or theories discovered in the last 20 years or so.

Although saying that my mum learned algorithms I never did. Damn my group 2 GSCE mathnesss.

Actually, having spent over a year in university I have now discovered that the usefulness of mathematics is proportional to its obscurity. It came as a surprise, I can tell you, I rallied against the so-called worthlessness of higher mathematics that I imagined as a high-school student, but I wish like hell that I'd paid more attention to it. Damn, if it didn't exist neither would modern civilisation and all its wonders. Trigonometry, geometry, calculus... complex statistical analysis... It's like having a New York City attachment to a Swiss-army knife.

Unfortunately I am somewhat disdainful of homeschool education, not least because of the habit of homeschools to teach creation and ID instead of science. An unfair generalisation, perhaps. They also don't tend to have the same practical equipment and resources for science and other practical subjects. Not to mention the total lack of a social aspect. No, I'm as outcast from society as much as the next social outcast, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what school taught me that was not on the curriculum.

And we would've gotten away with it too if it wasn't for that damned BM!

I don't really care. I get to dissect animals when spring comes around! I'm actually glad about the lack of social interaction. I wasn't even social in school, it was all about business. At least I managed to get away with a texting friend from band.
Also, if I end up as a hair dresser, grandma's there to help me pass the license test.

And...err...you can blame the 'useful' thing on my second grade teacher. Heh....
