Kicking social avoidancy to the curb: A tentative Part 1

So after missing all my lectures thus far this year, not unpacking after three weeks at my flat and waking up in a cold ridden daze at 6:30pm yesterday I decided I'd had fucking enough of this and was going to start being in control of my life again.

Went outside without a coat or jacket on.

I know, pathetic right?

But this is huge. This is the first time in five years I've had the courage to go outside without wearing two layers of clothing (This might be a reason why I hate summer so much) and I feel it's a huge first step towards conquering the social avoidancy that started to set in when I was sixteen, really got going when I split up with my ex-girlfriend and became crippling as my nana was dying.

Next step is actually attending one of the clubs I signed up for at the start of this year.

PS: I shaved for the first time since May. I am beautiful. I hate my ability to grow a full facial beard.

PPS: I'm also learning how to cook after surviving for three years on microwave meals, instant noodles and pizza. It feels satisfying.
