The Great India Catastrophe

So, I get my 360 back on Tuesday. I'm pleased about this because I have a friend over and I want to show him an episode of 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' that I have saved on it. I hook it up and...wha? Nothing that I have downloaded will play. All of my games have downgraded to trial versions and my videos say that the license has expired.

I take it into my bedroom and plug it into the internet. Lo and behold! They all work. I figure it should be fine now. I unplug the internet and try again. Now they have all reverted to how they were. I decide to call XBox support. Bad fucking decision.

I get an Indian man on the phone and he tells me that I need to download a license verification. I say okay. He then tells me to go to Xbox.com. I ask him why I can't just download it from the console. He tells me to go unto XBox.com. I tell him that to do so I will have to unplug the X-Box and I won't be able to use both. He tells me to go to XBox.com. I ask him if I will have to hook my XBox to the computer to download whatever this is and that I don't have that capability at this time. He tells me to go to XBox.com. At this point I scream into the phone "Why won't you just answer my fucking question". He tells me to go to Xbox.com.

Long story short. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone with him. In the end he told me that I will now need to connect my XBox to the computer. This is when the obscenities started pouring from me.

I still can't play my games offline.
