I so, so wish I could say this surprised me but my faith in humanity really is that low. It did make me feel outraged though, much like I do whenever I read stuff like this. That poor woman - She's very strong to be able to talk about it openly.

I'm wondering why news of this facility have not surfaced. I have never even heard of Cross Creek. It makes me wonder what other kind of facilities are operating behind closed doors and the governments role in these kinds of programs.

I have never read a story more horrifying than hers. Her parents sound like they should locked up in one of those facilities.

This i most likely some of the scariest stories Ive ever read in my life. I really hope the parents who send their kids to such facilities die lonely, and miserable shits. They do not deserve the title "parent". THey are lazy, disgusting fucks.

Oh also... If I remember correctly... WWASP was actually closed down successfuly I believe, but it then popped up under a new name.

This is all assuming this girl isn't lying about this place and why she was sent there. Wikipedia says that many people have tried to sue this organisation for abuse so I don't doubt her.

Do children in the USA (or any other country for that matter) have any rights? It seems that it's legal for the parent to have their child incarcerated at will.

The wanker that runs the place annoys as much as the parent. He seems to have a debt-collector mentality; doesn't care if you have done nothing wrong as long as there's a paying parent he is all to happy to bully the child.

I think Cross Creek mayt have been closed down though... A lot of WWASP's facilities were closed.

But the problem is, some of the facilities are located outside of USA, where this stuff isnt illegal.

I was threatened with this sort of program when I was a kid. Fortunately my mom couldn't afford it.
