A Sandstorm In Wales?

Confused by the title? I will explain.

But to clarify. I live in a small town. Nowhere near any sand. The nearest sand where I live is at a Builder's Suppliers down the road and even then that's all bagged up.

So this evening I was sat in my bedroom. Leaned back in my chair with my legs stretched out across one of my desks, I had the laptop resting my lap as I was typing this

Took forever to type and it's my longet post yet!

I took a quick look out of the window and I noticed it was getting darker. I thought nothing of it since it was the evening but I saw lots of black clouds. I assumed it was going to rain shortly.

Suddenly as I'm typing away, sure enough I hear the rain on my window. In the middle of my typing I took another look out of the window since I like watching rain.

But then I become a little confused. I could see what looked like a thick mist going past my house but as I looked at it more I began thinking it looked like sand!

I was becoming more and more confused at this point whilst this sand mist (?) was getting thicker and thicker! So I got out of my chair to get a closer look. I look to my left and I see is a huge puff of smoke comming from behind a house on my street. So I'm assuming it must have been a bonfire because there have been no fire engines and this "mist" quickly dissapered after I looked out of the window.

It was a moment of confusion, and a moment I'm sure people will mock me for when I tell them......
