Ugh, I studied French for 6 years and I'm already losing what I learnt three years on. Never mind. That was an amazing cartoon by the way. Pretty intriguing.

I took a year and a half of French. I forgot most of it when I realized the French suck (omitting their prowess in animation and filmmaking), and that it's very unlikely I'll ever go to France.
Of my list of places to visit before I die, it's near the bottom. Yeah, Paris is beautiful, whatever. The food is great, whatever. There are other places in Europe that offer just as much of an enriching experience where the people aren't arrogant lingual purists who speak an obnoxiously flowery language.
