And I side with Gabe, they were never cool.

They were only ever a poor imitation of Voltron.

Voltron was actually a poor imitation of another Japanese show. Western people grew up with it and love it, but the Japanese are all "Who gives a shit about GoLion and Dairugger?"

I loved Power Rangers when I was little because it was on GMTV in the morning before I went to school and presented by a scary black man who lived on the Hollywood sign.

I also used to love it. Then my mother pointed out that it was stupid, and gosh-darn it, I realised she was right.

I think the scary black man was called Mr Miracle, although I might be wrong.

He was my first introduction to racial stereotyping.

Because he was scary or because he lived on the Hollywood sign?
