HAPPY HOLOWEEN!

I completely forgot that Halloween even existed until the shops started selling the useless tack and it began to crop up on television and websites. I certainly hope I get no beggars. "Trick-or-treating" always seemed very cheeky to me. The only people I don't mind giving to are the little children. I never give to adolescents. They can buy their own bloody things.

We had some tirck-or-treaters earlier. Really young kids.

We were really quiet for a few minutes and they left.

i don't mind giving the kids sweets on Halloween, but we never get any kids. just youths dressed in tracksuit bottoms and hoodies.

I would still go trick-or-treating, even if people would not give me any candy. The houses with great decor are worth walking up to, regardless of candy. Although if they are greatly decorated, odds are they will give you some.:P

Shame nobody in Denmark really seems to celebrate Halloween at all.

I wish nobody would celebrate it over here. It's such a tacky affair. It's all about commercialisation, and I hate it. I just wish I didn't have to clean egg off my windows every year. I've chased them away a couple of times, so that makes me feel a bit better.

My first thought was that you must be some kind of idiot.

My second thought was that no, of course you're not, you're going to post pictures of, or links to pictures of, some impressive Halloween-themed holographic display.

My third thought was that, with hindsight, one of the above thoughts was altogether stupid.

I preferred old-fashioned Hallowe'en, where you'd stay at home or the monsters would get you.

Not reading anything that anyone said as it is bound to irritate me because you're all too young to be obnoxious misanthropes of the caliber I expect that your being.

On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the pumpkin hologram that was advertised.
