Weirdest experience of my life today. To set the scene, i've had 2 experiences of Deja Vu since starting college, more than I've had in the same number of years. They say 3rd times the charm, well this was the weirdest of the lot, and made me feel like I was in Groundhog Day.
I was in my psychology class, and the teacher started discussing students, specifically student days, like National Genes Day and stuff. And she somehow got on to talking about vampires. She said about how students seem to love dressing up as vampires, going to parties as them, and are just generally obsessed with them.
Not overly weird, if it weren't for the fact that she said the exact same thing word for word 2 weeks earlier. Literally word for word.
She then mentioned that there's 2 things that it seems to her students were obsessed with, and I knew what the 2nd would be before she said it, because she'd already said it before. First was vampires, second was midgets. The class laughed in the exact same frequency as 2 weeks earlier. She elaborated, talking about how students loved to watch midgets fight or study or discuss midgets, and how ex-students of hers still at the college would bring up midgets whenever they passed her. Again, she said this with every single word the exact same as 2 weeks earlier.
Then someone in the class asked her about the midgets to clarify. He asked the same question, again word for word. She replied the same, word for word. And i freaked out. I stayed silent in utter perplexity, mentioned the experience to a classmate, and then the lesson ended.
All in all, this lasted about 3 minutes. I've never known Deja Vu last that long before. But it wasn't just that, it was more identical than any Deja Vu I've had before. Normally, Deja Vu is just highly similar, or a couple words or sentences are the same. This was identical, every single word by word.
Very weird. I just hope I don't wake up tomorrow and it's Friday again, or I may well go insane.
