You really need to play fallout 1 and 2 before you play 3 and new vegas. It's like picking up Oddworld at SW

No no, I did! I got the Fallout Collection for a Fiver before I got Fallout 3. I also have Fallout Brotherhood of Steel on Xbox.
Admittedly I prefer Fallout 3 more (I played Morrowind before Fallout 3).

Ah fair play then. I prefer 1 & 2, even tactics really to 3 but BoS is crap without a doubt.

My liking for Fallout started with 3, I admit, but it didn't make the first two look bad at all (I'm playing FO2 nowadays). The very first title I played was the first one, but I was around 10 at the time, and I didn't really get the gameplay, and was stepped on by Radscorpions quite often as a result.
