So I just found out Machete the film is going to straight to DVD

This makes me sad because me and several friends had it exactly planed out what we were going to do after we had seen it.

That...and can you imagine how awesome it would look in a cinema?

You should all also be sad

You can’t get everyone over to watch it on DVD at once, then go off and do what you had planned? Sure it wouldn’t have exactly the same vibe, but it’s not an end to the plans.

And just think, watching it at home you can booze and toke all you like, and hopefully no chewing gum on the floor.

It involved going to macdonalds and meeting pretty girls

Which is difficult because there is no Maccy Ds in my town

McDonalds is a shit restaurant, anyway. Frankie and Benny's is more my style. Those east coast sundaes are to die for.

Your town sounds idyllic. I presume you were going to go to a nearby town to see it in the cinema. Otherwise your plan sounded ill-conceived to begin with.

Yes, yes we were

So now we don't have to go to a different town to see it...although we could go to a different town to buy the DVD, but that is far less impressive to the ladies if you are holding a DVD

So he goes out to buy a DVD, but whilst he's carrying it out of the shop, he's supposed to leave it at home?

And what's so wrong about holding a DVD?

It leaves fewer hands free to grope ladies, which ladies expect and want.
