Mac Sirloin eats cigarettes.

Note: This isn't actually about eating cigarettes.

Other Note: OANST, you're quitting smoking or whatever, and this might like...initiate a craving or something else only I would worry about. Just in case.

So in the last two months I've started trying new things. One of those things was cigarettes, something that used to be kind of a treat or frivolity for nights on the town. I like smoking cigarettes, it can be a really quick, simple way to relax and gather your thoughts. I enjoy the headrushes that seem to arrive with no consistency at all. They're nice when you're drunk and high and need an excuse to lean on something.

On the other hand, the smell. God DAMN does ciggy smoke stick to you. And not in the "fun party guy/filthy liberal" way that potsmoke does. No, cigarette smoke is a miasma that will envelop you and NEVER EVER LEAVE until like a few hours later. I'm most likely preaching to the choir here, but you get it. Cigarettes. They're kind of okay. The end.

	Glad you've found something you enjoy. Just decide whether you're prepared to get addicted to nicotine now, rather than when/if you do.

Everyone who's older(talking bout 40+ years) that I've talked to, say they regret starting smokes and always tell me never to do it. On the other hand they also talk about how they enjoy smoking.

Either way, I really do hate the smell of most smokes. It is rather sickly inducing X_x ... I do like the smell of some of them though. Some of them have a mild bon-fire smell. But there's also a big noticable difference in quality from what I gathered. I thought they were all the same, but I guess not.

	I realised a while ago that I could get addicted to cigarettes very easily. That's why I chose to never try one - not even onces, just as an experiment.

	i used to smoke when i was at school, but once my stepfather found out i stopped it pretty sharpish. since then, i can't stand the taste of them. they leave my mouth tasting like a fucking sewer.

	At this point it would probably be keen for me to mention that I'm not actually buying packs of smokes and smoking them regularly, but I've just been smoking cigarettes bummed from friends/left at my house inconsistently. No, I'd rather not get addicted, thank you.

Why is it any more expensive than buying tobacco for a roll-up cigarette but without the papers?

Ignoring the cost of the pipe itself, they're pretty wasteful. A lot of unsmokable gunk gets left at the bottom, you need more tobacco to get the same amount of inhalable smoke, so you have to buy more tobacco as a result. Also you might want to get better quality tobacco to mask the taste of burnt wood. Also pipe polish, though this if optional if you're prepared to be looked down upon by the rest of the pipesmoking community.

Fair point about the papers though, I hadn't thought of that.

	I find rolling tobaccos scent sticks to you >9000x less than tailies do... and rolling baccy smells like a jillion times better. if you can get it over there, the only shit I can smoke is port royal black label, and it is the absolute tits.
