Some Enchanted Evening

Posted 11-26-2011 at 01:47 PM by JennyGenesis
I was feeling hungry this evening but I couldn't be bothered to cook, so I decided to go out for a Kebab.

I was walking through town when suddenly I found a girl lying on the floor outside a shop crying.

So I went down and spoke to her and got her on her feet, it was apparent right away that not only was she pissed, she was underage to, so after a nice conversation (Which involved her bitching about men) it seems that her friends abandoned her, she didn't have a phone either!

Thank goodness it was somebody as nice as me that decided to help her, because her hand was going down between my legs, I politely moved her hand away and did explain that she was vulnerable to some "nasty people" who may have taken advantage of what she was doing to me

So I had my arm round her because she could barely balance herself, after more conversation I got her name, age (17), and address, so since I had her address I offered to walk her home, things were going great, she was crying the entire time but we were making friendly conversation.

Things then turned sour as suddenly she didn't want me anywhere near her, she was screaming at me and even tried to hit me at one point, so I told her that I was going away but I was quietly following behind her just to make sure she was safe, it got to the point where she fell right on her face on the floor, I ran over to pick her up, but she went loopy on me and refused to move!

I tried my best but she continued screaming at me and said she was not going anywhere, I decided to get the assistance of the Police, but none of us had a phone, so I ran to the nearest house with lights switched on,

Now this bit you won't believe, because this truly fucked me off.

I rang the door bell, a woman answered and I explained the situation to her and asked if I could use her phone to call the police, she took a peek outside and just said "No" and closed the door on me!

Holly (the girl I'm trying to help) is suddenly on the move again rather swiftly and hurls abuse at me from across the road.

I found 2 young girls walking towards us and I ran over to them, explained what was happening and they were nice enough to help me and let me use the phone whilst trying to control Holly.

So the phone call was over and the Police were on their way. Problem was, Holly was shouting at all of now and was running away, the only option I felt was to stay exactly where I was so that the Police could find me when they arrived.

The Police turned up, I told them everything, gave them Holly's details and described her, the Policeman thanked me and said that he will search for her and get her home safely.

So the next thing for me, was to go home, I only told my mum I was getting dinner and since I was out quite a considerable time I found it best to go home and tell her what happened,

Turns out my mum was trying to phone me the entire time, so I explained the situation, and left the house to finally get my kebab!

That's some truly messed-up stuff, you're a good person for doing what you could instead of leaving her there. Seems like she didn't handle her drink too well.

Drunken teenage chavs like her are a real problem around here (UK), it doesn't matter what gender they are.

What an asshole, first you offer help and then she just starts yelling at you? Lesson learnt; don't help strangers.

That's just another way of stereotyping strangers as horrible people. What if the girl was polite and accepted the help?

It's not that you shouldn't help strangers, because as JG said, things didn't kick off for a while, and perhaps in her head a lot of shit was flying around.

I think, regardless of what she did, JG was absolutely in the right continuing helping that girl. For the simple reason that she couldn't handle her drink and if she done that to anyone else who wasn't as nice then she might not have made it home.

Well done, Jenny.

good man. you acted very responsibly, even though it wasn't your responsibility. it wouldn't surprise me if the girl is actually very nice when sober, that's what stupid amounts of booze does to some people.

Survival of the fittest what what, if she dies of wind chill from a night on the cold pavement, she shouldn't be drinking. And it'll do her a world of good, wake her up what what, show her what the world is like.

@STM: Perhaps some people need guidance. How do you know she wasn't peer pressured to take that alcohol? After all, she was alone and her friends had left her, she was in an extremely vulnerable position.

I like drunk people whenever I'm in the wonderful world of sobriety. They do the funniest shit.

I had a similar experience as JG a couple of months back. After a long nights partying at a 'so not my scene' nightclub we were walking back and as luck would have it, right through a fucking fight.

Some pretty girl was sitting on the floor, abandoned by all her mates so we (one of my friends) took her under our (her) wing to find a taxi. She was sober, thankfully, and underage, unfortunately. Well, stomach comes before everything else, am I right? So after getting food we stopped outside a Indian restaurant whenever a drunk guy thought it would be funny to slap her arse, really fucking hard. I defended her honor by punching him equally as hard in the bake because that's totally the right thing to do. To be honest, I'm glad he was drunk because he was bigger than me. My girlfriend and her girl friend said they were glad that I came out with them that night.

I was pleased.

Ridg. Ladies man.

I've never had the fortune of being in such a position, well not in the same way, unfortunately, I'm a bit of drain on my sober friends when I'm drunk, apparently one kind soul spent fifteen minutes helping me up from a drunken foetal position, down an enormously steep garden and onto a seat. This man, is a damn good friend. however I wouldn't get myself into the state that the girl with JG was in, because I always walk home alone when I'm drunk...and if I was in that situation, I wouldn't wake up the next morning in bed, even if it takes me a hell of a lot longer to make it.

Whenever I've been drunk 99% of the time it has been with a group of friends, I would be totally pissed off with them if they just abandoned me.
