I thought I was losing my hair at one point. Then I realised 2 things:

1) hair tends to come out more when washing when it is long, as there is simply more of it.

2) My hair is layered so as a result of the layering becomes thinned.

I have remedied #2 today by going to the hairdresser's to get my hair tidied/trimmed so it can thicken up. Hopefully yours just appears thinned too. If not....shame. Long hair is indeed wonderful.
