(Potential)Impetigo from i girl i like

So today i was with some mates, one of my mates girlfriend and her mates one of whom i really like

So she asks me if she can have a bit of my drink.

i say "sure"

and this girl is funny, smart and very beautiful and i think she really likes me.

anyway after she drinks a bit of my drink she says her freinds think something round her lip maybe impertigo after she sliced her thumb.

so i think quickly and all i can come up with is "ah well these thing happen"

so could i get Impetigo?

weird huh?

is this good or bad? lol

Impetigo is a bacterial skin infection characterized by blisters that may itch.

Yes, you might get it. Incubation time is normally 2-3 days, but it's not the end of the world. You'd probably have gotten it sooner or later, it happens to some people. I had it for a few weeks back in high-school.

It's very contagious and usually transfers with direct contact, though yours was sort of, indirect, but enough to infect you. We'll see in a few days.

If you do get it, leave the blisters be initially. A crust will form at which point you should remove the crust by using a wet dressing. Put the dressing on the crust for a couple of minutes and then attempt to remove it. Use your own towel so as to not infect your family members. If you have some hydrogen peroxide (usually prescribed as Lipid Hydrogen Peroxide, LPH), you can use that as ointment, after cleaning the wounds with chlorhexidine.
