is The War Of The Worlds book any good? i've listened to the original cassettes and loved them, but i didn't think about reading the book.

also X-Files, great stuff. although i never got past a certain series and couldn't be arsed to catch up.

I personally think the original book is the best version. Well, the old movie is good too for the cool noises, but the book fits the theme the most.

Hey, you have the crazy long version of Dune. I taped that off of the Sci-Fi channel when I was a kid as it was never released on video over here. Nothing is better than watching Captain Picard play a large mechanical sitar.
