Medical update.

Had my neurology appointment today, though it was more of a meet and greet.

I'm scheduled for a battery of tests and scans next week, but it sounds like I'm suffering from chronic migraines, and possibly petit mal seizures brought on by said migraines. Although tumors/legions are apparently still a very real possibility.

As a result, I've been prescribed the anti seizure medication Topamax, which also apparently works wonders in the ole' migraine department.

On the lighter side of things, I continue to be a fucking all-star at work, and am making good connections with the program coordinator and program manager, which is neat.

We also put up our Christmas tree last week, which in addition to looking wonderful, has infused our home with a lovely pine scent.

Speaking of pregnancy, the fetus is officially a girl. We've decided on Zoe for a first name, but have no clues as far as the middle is concerned. I welcome your suggestions.

and is the tree really that bright once the lights are turned on? because it looks pretty decent. we bought a real tree this year, too, but the dogs keep knocking the decorations off it.

Middle names are hard. Abbey ended up with Lee because it is kind of a tradition with women on April's side of the family. I hope the tests turn out okay.

That's the way it generally works? My middle name is my father's REAL first name and my brother's middle name is my father's fake first name.

anyway, misty? i knew someone with that name. or melony? they're the only girl names i can think of that i thought would be good middle names.

Dorian is actually named after Dorian Gray.

I refuse to divulge my last name.

The lights on the tree are these pretty rad LED lights we found in target. They don't get hot, and they're pretty damned nice to look at, I think.

I only asked because I thought it'd help think up of a fitting middle name.

Anne and Marie are always popular choices for short middle names, if not them I suggest something quite long like Catherine or Elizabeth,

Is it really? I've never known anyone whose middle name is their mother's or father's first name. I figured we were both named after a great uncle of mine. I've got about 12 of that side of the family, odds are one of them was a David.

My Middle name(s) is/are John Joseph. John after presumably my Uncle John OR that one guy from the bible, and Joseph is assuredly the latter.

I'm 75% Bible names.

I fucking hate pills. They cost money.

I have no idea what to do with the middle name, because most people I know just have their grandparent's name or the name of some saint. I like Zoe though.
