Hospital Time!
So guys, have an update to the adventure with my teeth, after being advised to see my dentist, I called to make an appointment, they said they couldn't find my name on their records, after explaining that I haven't visited for many years they said that they had removed me from their list and that they were currently not taking in any more patients.
So I called some more dentists to try and get an appointment, I had the same response every time "We are not taking on new patients right now" eventually I was pissed off with hearing this and asked why, I was told that it is because the NHS is no longer providing enough funding for them to take on new patients.
My last resort was to go to the hospital, but my problems suddenly went away, great, another worry off my chest, until suddenly, it's struck back!
I woke up one morning with a very achey throat and extreme pain everytime I swallowed, now I was very hungover so I just thought it was a result of my drinking and thought nothing of it. Days have passed and the problem has gotten worse. This lump has developed inside my mouth, it's gotten bigger, it still hurts when I swallow, and my mouth is half blocked up now making swallowing and even more difficult task. I have to take care to make sure I chew food throughly because I've already managed to choke once.
The last two days, I've had absolutely no sleep, I did finish Uni for the summer yesterday so that's good timing, I've taken painkillers but they only slightly ease the pain and now it's spread to my ear as well.
But even taking tablets has been a pain in the ass, this morning I took one and it got stuck in this little gap on the lump, so I had to poke my finger inside and get it out, almost puking in the process.
So, I'm going to go down to the hospital and see what they can do, I'm sure if I really need a dentist that urgently that they will sort it out for me.
