I almost got run over by a Supertram. Actually, I didn't, it just felt the need to toot its extremely loud horn at me when I crossed in front of it while it was stationary. I almost froze to the spot in fear. Horns = stupid.

Once, on my way to work when I was about twenty, somebody threw themselves under the bus I was riding on. I could have shit myself. When I got to work, I had to explain why I was late - "Sorry, but somebody threw themselves under my bus." - I don't think that they believed me. They gave me funny looks.

i was travelling a train from Bognor once, when a woman with a baby ran out into a train and killed herself, and the child. it wasn't the train i was on, but it had happened ahead of us and we were held up for about 3 hours.

There was a time when a car scared me shitless:

I was on my way to pick my brother up from school and I was at a crossing, the light went red and it signaled for me to cross. As I was crossing a 4x4 came speeding round the corner beeping it's horn at me, luckily it stopped just before it reached the crossing. Even though I knew I should have started running out of the way it still took me a few seconds to un-freeze.

Freezing with fear for me feels like getting punched in the stomach but without the pain (kinda like being really badly winded).
