Bit of background, this weekend, I went to the Mardi Gras LGBT event in Cardiff which was awesome even though it started to rain and I got a little wet. but anyway.
Friday I stayed at a friends house since we we were going to Mardi Gras together on the Saturday,
The highlight of the night!
Ordering pizza from the internet at midnight! Never done it before, but I found it pretty cool that we just sat on the computer a few minutes and a pizza was on it's way, yummy!
So the next day I ran into a little problem at Mardi Gras, 2 friend(s) of mine were going, now, my friend Stuart I like and I really wanted to say hello to him there since it was his birthday, but the problem is that he was going with someone called Craig who I have decided to stop talking to because he has really been pissing me off for a few weeks, all this week I just had a million phone calls and texts from Craig as he wanted to know what time I was going to Mardi Gras, I just decided to ignore it all since if I told him that I didn't want to go with him he would ignore that and take it as a yes since he never listens to any sort of "no".
Even when I woke up Satuday morning I found I had a missed call from Stuart, I wanted to phone him and wish him a happy birthday but I just know he would say that Craig wanted to speak to me and I would be stuck talking to him because wherever Stuart is, Craig is, and I knew that Stuart was staying at Craigs house,
Well I managed to avoid Craig all day, so I had a really good day, and wow I saw some things! Smurfs! Spider man! Zoro! V! and lots of other crazy costumes, I went dressed in all black with an LGBT flag around my neck like a cape and I had a little cute teddy sat in my necklace.
I had plenty of people telling me they loved it, so this is where my first run in with a lesbian began, I was walking along when a guy tugs my flag and says "I really love your cape darling!" so I turned around and said "Thank you" then this woman stood not too far said to me "shame your about face though" so I gave her the finger and said "Like my teddy then bitch!" I'm not sure what her problem was butvof course there was a very high probability that there was an asshole there.
My cute teddy sitting in my necklace
2nd run in with a lesbian was at the toilets, I was waiting in the line and in front of me was this woman ranting to her friend about something and she just woulnd't shut the fuck up and she was loud as well! She stumbled backwards and bumped into me, I was completly taken by surprise and started to stumble myself, instead of apologising to me she just decided to give me a dirty look...
One thing I found to be quite strange was a group of guys walking around wearing only their boxers and boots, I find it strange because I was just thinking to myself "Where do they keep their personal belongings?" I personally can never leave the house without my wallet my phone and my ipod so I need pockets!
Now this bit will probably only serve interest to the car nerds here but...
ABARTHS!
Yeah! Abarths are cool! A local Fiat Abarth dealer brought down 2 Abarth 500's and a Fiat 500
I have no interest in bikes, but there was a gay bikers club there and I thought I would upload this just for those who may like bikes
A really funny moment was when a group of chavs walked in, they tried to act really tough with their cool gangsta walks in their McKenzie shellsuits but you could just clearly tell that they were uncomfortable with the enviroment they were in.
What did anoy me was when I was entering the event, you are not allowed to bring in your own alcohol so they were doing bag searches, I bought a bottle of coke at the train station and got 1 sip of it, I was told that I couldn't take it in becuase it was an unsealed bottle, so I had no choice but to take a massive gulp and dispose of it
the damn thing cost £1.85!
Of course like any event, everything was expensive! A can of Strongbow cost me £3.50! I was also asked to take part in a survey on hate crime, I thought, why not, but... it was 92QUESTIONS LONG!!!! but I persisted and answered all of them!
Much later in the day the rain came crashing down so we were all running around like idiots finding shelter, I'm quite sure that the people who were wearing next to nothing were regretting their choice of clothing at this point.
But apart from those negative points, it really was an awesome day, but torture, so many hot guys in one place! I wish I could have had them all
So now that you have reached the end of this blog post
NAVI!
