One of my more beloved fandoms is starting to shrivel up and deteriorate, even quicker than Oddworld.
Fuzzy handcuffs and feather whips are all out in the open, severe character rape is rampant, out of character is slowly becoming the norm, flying squeaky piggies and pineapples are everywhere, and it probably doesn't help that most of the fanbase is female (which I find odd, considering the game), and that one of the official characters was a closet pervert to begin with. It's like the fall of the empire all over again! And if this turns out to be a 'metroid' sorta situation, we still have four more years to go! *rubs hands* Oh, but it will be worth the wait... If the new individual muscle system they're using for Kratos makes it into the next game in some form or another... 95% of our community would have fainted and/or had a seisure from the pure orgasmaliciousness of it all. Right now, all 3 of us who haven't been consumed by shadows are all drooling over a homebrew that's been delayed several times, and has the graphics of an early PS2 game. Pheonix feathers anyone? Fairy in a bottle? Insane amounts of alcohol? Heart of Darkness card?! CHOCOLATE?! ANYTHING?! ...*sob* It's just so sad to see such a well-spoken fanbase crumble away like that. *cuddles remaining active RPGs* |
