This place is so dead.

So, what sites have you started frequenting since conversation here has petered out. Personally, I've been trolling The Escapist, causing hell and grief for the people who write the articles as I call them out on all of their spelling and grammar errors.

I give Abbey five dollars for every book that she reads cover to cover without me helping her with a single word. If I have to help her then she is done for the night, and will have to try again the next night. Now, she already likes books, but this just gives a bigger incentive for her to spend her time investigating the many worlds available to her in books.

Abbey has been expressing an interest in joining the Girl Scouts. I was a little hesitant because I am familiar with the fact that the Boy Scouts are a religious organization, and I'm not too keen on having my daughter preached at while making arts and crafts. So, I look on the website and I see that their creed is to "Serve God and Country". As an anti-nationalist atheist this set off some alarms, but I figure what the hell. I'll give 'em a call.

I just received a significant bump in pay which could easily double or triple my income in any given week. I am get paid. Discuss.

When I got off of work on Friday, April told Abbey to tell me about her boyfriend. I look at Abbey, and she just looks away and says "My boyfriend is Brendan". Brendan hasn't been to school in about a month, so I say "Oh, is he back?". She says no. I'm a little confused, so I turned to April who whispers, "I'll tell you later".

Abbey's teacher told us the other day that she and a boy in her class named Brendan are always sitting next to each other, and holding hands. April also noticed that when she picks her up from school she is usually holding Brendan's hand. So, last night I asked Abbey about it. Here's how the conversation went.
