I've been so goddamn fucking grumpy lately. My Paternal Grandma Connie (mentioned in several of my dogblogs) passed away little over a month ago, maybe a week or so after I got fired. She was extremely sick and it was her time. My dad spent the last few months by her side, and we're getting the family together for a memorial this Saturday.

I was fired from my full-time, minimum-wage, overtime everyday Soup Cannery job.

And I couldn't be more depressed about it. I loved it there, I got along well with my coworkers (except for the deaf guy I punched), I got a lot of exercise doing the work, made some money (saved little of it) and was just generally occupied and had purpose for about two months. It felt like Summer should have felt, except I wasn't working at all through the actual summer and was broke most of the time....

Started a new job at a soup Cannery. 50 hours a week, starting at 7:00AM monday to friday. INCREDIBLY hard work. Like, 2 hours straight of personally scooping several tons of beans with a plastic bucket into a shaking machine.
