I had my school formal last night. It was fantastic. Most of the photos are still filtering through, but I figure I should write it up now while it's all fresh in my mind.

First and foremost, I took a girl to the formal with me. We only decided to go together at the last minute because neither of us had a date, but I'm glad I can say I went with someone.

I should also talk about how fantastic my suit was. I managed to find a second hand, 3 button Italian suit for $40...

Ok, so this is a pretty long winded thing. Basically, as part of passing or last year of school in my stupid state we have to complete a subject called Research Project. I'm researching 2D platformers, and I need people to do some tests for me. It will involve downloading some files from various, questionable sources but it shouldn't be too much trouble.

I'm doing an arrangement for school. We have to holistically change a piece into another style. I've taken a well known tune and put it into a baroque style following every key melodic note with only minor harmonic changes*. The only trouble is that I think I got a bit carried away and you can't recognise it any more.

If someone could take a listen and guess the piece I will love you forever.

I went out to lunch with some friends today. It was lots of fun. This kind of this is getting more and more common for me. Everything is going well this year. I feel more accepted. I feel like I get along with people better than I ever have.

Now I need to figure out why I still seem to be feeling worse and worse about life.

Also, I think my music is falling apart. The flute feels wrong in my hands right now. In the last week I can no longer get any focus into my sound...

So my English teacher corrected some commas in a piece of work and I don't completely agree with her. What do you guys think?

My dad eats too much chocolate. My mum told me the other day that she's going to have to stop buying it, which is annoying for a moocher like me.

I'm sure most of you have heard me rant about my Windows computer breaking a few weeks ago somewhere. That was just a general SSD failure and it was still under warranty, so other than a few hundred hours of video game saves that I didn't have backups of there was no great loss.
